About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ready to take your catering management skills to new horizons? We’re looking for an Offshore Site Manager to join our team at the vibrant Marina Square on Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to keep operations running smoothly—even when “smooth” means working offshore—this could be your next big adventure. It’s not your typical hospitality gig: think dynamic teams, unique challenges, and the chance to lead catering excellence where it matters most.
About the Company
We’re a close-knit group of hospitality pros who believe great food and service can make even the most remote site feel like home. Our team is known for going the extra mile—whether that’s organizing surprise birthday cakes for crew members or sharing a laugh during our weekly “Foodie Friday” tastings. We take our work seriously but keep our culture supportive, down-to-earth, and always open to fresh ideas. Growth is in our DNA; as demand for high-quality offshore catering rises, we’re expanding and looking for leaders ready to make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily catering operations at our offshore site, ensuring every meal is up to standard and on schedule.
- Coordinating with onshore and offshore teams—chefs, kitchen staff, logistics—to anticipate needs and resolve issues before they become problems.
- Managing inventory, supplies, and procurement to keep kitchens stocked and waste minimal (we love a good efficiency hack).
- Leading, training, and motivating a diverse crew, fostering a supportive environment even when the seas get rough (figuratively and literally).
- Ensuring strict compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene standards—no shortcuts, ever.
- Handling client communications and feedback with professionalism and a personal touch.
- Preparing and presenting operational reports to upper management, highlighting wins and areas for improvement.
- Rolling up your sleeves to help out wherever needed—because teamwork really does make the dream work.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Solid experience managing catering operations in offshore or remote site environments (you know the unique challenges and how to tackle them).
- Proven leadership skills—people listen when you speak, and they trust your judgment.
- Strong organizational abilities; you can juggle schedules, supplies, and staff and still keep your cool.
- Up-to-date knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both with your team and clients.
- Flexibility to work in offshore rotations as required.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Formal training in hospitality or culinary management.
- Experience in the UAE or similar international locations.
- A knack for problem-solving and keeping morale high, even during tough shifts.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary packages plus offshore allowances.
- Rotational work schedules—giving you time to recharge between assignments.
- Comfortable staff accommodations and meals provided on site.
- Opportunities for professional growth as we expand across the region.
- Supportive, tight-knit team culture where your contributions are noticed and appreciated.
- Real impact: your work makes daily life better for everyone on site.
If you’re looking for a role that combines leadership, hospitality, and a genuine sense of adventure, you’ll feel right at home with us.
