What You’ll Be Doing
- Sourcing products and services from reliable suppliers, always balancing quality, cost, and timely delivery
- Negotiating contracts and payment terms with vendors, with an eye for savings and long-term partnerships
- Maintaining accurate purchase records, order tracking, and supplier documentation
- Coordinating with internal teams to understand their needs, and ensuring those needs are met on time
- Monitoring stock levels and anticipating supply requirements before they become urgent
- Evaluating supplier performance, giving feedback, and fostering strong, professional relationships
- Staying informed on market trends, new suppliers, and alternative products that could bring value
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills — you’re comfortable picking up the phone or meeting face-to-face
- Detail-oriented approach to documentation, contracts, and order accuracy
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes and best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and basic procurement software
- Currently based in Abu Dhabi (priority given to local applicants)
