About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever thought about turning your passion for people and places into a rewarding career? At Black Hills Homes Properties, we’re searching for Property Consultants at both entry and senior level to join our growing Abu Dhabi team. Whether you’re just starting out or already sharpening your real estate skills, this is your chance to help clients discover their perfect home and grow into one of the city’s top consultants. Here, it’s not just about closing deals; it’s about building a reputation—and a future—you can be proud of.

About Black Hills Homes Properties

We might not be the oldest real estate agency on the block, but we’re one of the most ambitious. Our team is a blend of seasoned professionals and eager learners driven by a shared mission: to raise the bar for client service across Abu Dhabi. You’ll notice it the moment you step in—our open office buzzes with collaboration, laughter, and the occasional heated debate over the best shawarma spot nearby. Training and mentorship aren’t buzzwords here; they’re a commitment. We celebrate each other’s wins (yes, there’s cake), and on Fridays, demo days are our unofficial tradition.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Guide clients through the entire property journey—showing listings, answering questions, negotiating deals, and closing sales that make everyone smile.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest listings (and get the scoop on upcoming hot properties before anyone else).
  • Build relationships with buyers, sellers, and landlords—think of yourself as their trusted advisor, not just their agent.
  • Attend regular team meetings and take part in our ongoing training sessions (sometimes those turn into brainstorms over coffee).
  • Use our company-provided tech tools to track leads, manage follow-ups, and impress clients with your responsiveness.
  • Contribute to our marketing efforts—whether it’s posting on social media or brainstorming new campaigns with our creative team.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • A genuine interest in real estate and helping people make great decisions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills—you're comfortable talking and, just as importantly, listening.
  • Ambition and a willingness to learn—whether you have months or a couple of years’ experience, we want someone hungry to grow.
  • Basic tech skills—you’ll be working with CRM platforms, emails, and more.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous sales or customer service experience.
  • Additional languages, especially Arabic.
  • Abu Dhabi real estate market familiarity.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Above-market commission split—we mean it. Your effort pays off, literally.
  • Your own company SIM, phone, and laptop so you can hit the ground running on day one.
  • Qualified leads provided—we set you up for success from the start.
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship for both new and experienced consultants.
  • Supportive, collaborative team culture where knowledge-sharing is encouraged and celebrated.
  • Opportunities for rapid career progression—we love promoting from within.
  • Modern office in Abu Dhabi (with flexible arrangements for fieldwork).
  • Regular team events, Friday demo days, and the occasional spontaneous celebration when someone closes a big deal.

If you’re seeking a role where your ambition will be matched with real support and real rewards, come find your place with us at Black Hills Homes Properties. Here, your growth isn’t just possible—it’s expected.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Walk me through how you would approach guiding a first-time buyer through the process of finding and purchasing a property in Abu Dhabi.
  • What strategies would you use to build trust and long-term relationships with both clients and landlords?
  • Can you share an example of how you've successfully negotiated a deal or resolved a disagreement between a buyer and a seller?
  • How do you stay current on new property listings, market trends, and upcoming developments?
  • Which CRM tools have you used in previous roles, and how do you manage your leads and follow-ups to stay organized?
  • Imagine you’re hosting a property showing and your client seems hesitant—how would you handle their concerns while highlighting the value of the listing?
  • Social media is a key part of our marketing. What platforms have you used to engage real estate audiences, and can you share a campaign idea you might bring to the team?
  • Tell us about a time when you learned a new skill or system quickly under pressure. What helped you adapt?
  • Our office thrives on teamwork. Can you describe a situation where you contributed to a group project or supported a colleague’s success?
  • How would you handle a situation where you miss a personal sales target in an otherwise high-performing month?
  • What aspects of our culture—like our open office, Friday demo days, or regular team events—motivate you to perform your best?
  • Give an example of how you communicate complicated information clearly to clients, especially if English or Arabic isn’t their first language.
  • What excites you most about working in Abu Dhabi’s fast-evolving real estate market, and how would you ensure you’re always adding value to your clients?
  • How do you balance ambition with professionalism and integrity when striving to close deals?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

You should expect a salary of at least 4,000–6,000 AED per month for entry-level Property Consultant roles in Abu Dhabi, often supplemented with attractive commission schemes that can significantly boost your earnings. Senior property consultants with several years of experience typically command monthly salaries in the range of 8,000–12,000 AED, plus commissions, depending on individual performance and deal closures. Given the high earning potential through commissions in real estate, highlighting your ambition and sales skills can help you negotiate towards the higher end of these ranges.
