About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Ever wondered what it’s like to sell real estate in one of the most dynamic property markets on the planet? If you’ve got the drive and the hustle, this could be your shot. We’re looking for a Property Consultant to join our team in the heart of Dubai’s Business Bay — someone who doesn’t just want a job, but wants a career with serious earning potential. This isn’t your average 9-to-5; it’s a role where your effort directly translates into your income, and the sky’s the limit.

About the Company

We’re a boutique real estate firm with big ambitions, operating right in the middle of the action on Business Bay. Unlike the massive corporate outfits where you’re just a number, we’ve built our reputation on a simple philosophy: treat every client like they’re our only client. Our team is a tight-knit group of go-getters from all over the world, and while we take our work seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. You’ll find a culture that celebrates wins, shares leads, and genuinely supports each other — because we know that when you’re in sales, having a solid crew behind you makes all the difference.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Hunting and closing deals — You’ll be sourcing your own leads through viewings, networking events, and building relationships that turn into referrals. We don’t hand you a list and expect you to figure it out; we help you build your pipeline from day one.
  • Showcasing properties — From sleek downtown apartments to sprawling villas in the Emirates Hills, you’ll be presenting properties in their best light and handling viewings like a pro. It’s about painting a picture of a lifestyle, not just showing square footage.
  • Negotiating like a champ — You’ll be the bridge between buyers, sellers, and landlords. That means handling offers, counteroffers, and sometimes a bit of tension — all while keeping your cool and protecting your client’s interests.
  • Staying on top of market trends — Dubai’s property landscape shifts fast. You’ll be expected to know the latest off-plan launches, rental yields, and neighbourhood developments so you can advise clients with confidence.
  • Managing paperwork and follow-ups — Let’s be real, there’s admin involved. You’ll coordinate with our in-house team to make sure every contract, deposit, and handover goes through without a hitch.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience in sales — whether that’s in real estate, luxury goods, or another high-ticket industry. We care about your ability to close, not just your years on the job.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills — you can read a room, adapt your pitch, and build trust quickly.
  • A target-driven mindset with the self-motivation to work independently. You don’t need someone breathing down your neck to hit your numbers.
  • Customer-focused approach — you genuinely care about finding the right fit for your clients, not just making a quick buck.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a huge plus given the diversity of our clientele.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • RERA Broker Card (if you don’t have one, we can help you get it sorted).
  • UAE driving license and access to a car — it makes viewings and site visits way easier.
  • Existing network or database of potential clients in the region.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you. If you’ve got the hunger and the right attitude, we can teach you the rest.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Uncapped earning potential — This is a commission-based role, and we mean it when we say the sky’s the limit. Top performers in our team are clearing figures that would make most corporate jobs blush. Your base structure is negotiable, so let’s talk numbers.
  • Prime location — We’re based in Business Bay, surrounded by the very properties you’ll be selling. No long commutes to client meetings — everything’s within reach.
  • Real support, not just slogans — We provide marketing materials, lead generation tools, and an in-house team that handles the boring stuff so you can focus on selling.
  • Growth opportunities — As we expand, so do our people. Many of our senior consultants started exactly where you are now.
  • A team that has your back — Friday breakfasts, monthly team outings, and a WhatsApp group that’s always buzzing with tips and wins. It’s competitive out there, but you won’t be competing alone.

At the end of the day, this role is for someone who’s ready to put in the work and reap the rewards. If you’ve got the drive and want to be part of a team that actually cares about your success, we’d love to see what you can do.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Walk me through a deal you closed that required you to go above and beyond to win the client over. What was your approach, and what made the difference in the end?
  • If I handed you a completely new off-plan launch in a neighborhood you’ve never sold in before, how would you go about building interest and generating your own leads for it within the first two weeks?
  • Tell me about a time you had to negotiate a tough deal where the buyer and seller were far apart on price. How did you manage the tension and keep the conversation moving forward?
  • How do you currently stay on top of market trends and off-plan launches in Dubai, and what would you do to get up to speed quickly if you joined our team tomorrow?
  • Describe a situation where a client was hesitant or unsure about making a decision. What did you do to guide them, and how did you handle the follow-up?
  • When you’re responsible for sourcing your own pipeline, how do you structure your week to make sure you’re consistently filling viewings and not just relying on the same few leads?
  • Give me an example of a time you missed a target or lost a deal you thought you had locked in. What did you learn from it, and how did you adjust your approach afterwards?
  • We’re a tight-knit team that shares leads and celebrates wins together. Tell me about a time you collaborated with a colleague to close a deal or solve a problem — what was your role in that?
  • How do you handle the inevitable ups and downs of a commission-based role? What keeps you motivated on the slower weeks when the pipeline feels dry?
  • Imagine a client asks you about a property’s rental yield and long-term investment potential, but you don’t have the exact figures on hand. How would you handle that conversation in the moment, and what would you do afterwards?
  • What does great customer service mean to you in real estate, especially when you’re

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For a commission-based Property Consultant role in Dubai, similar positions usually offer a modest basic salary—often between 2,500 and 5,000 AED per month—with the real earnings coming from uncapped commissions. Given the boutique firm setup and the strong lead support mentioned, you should expect a base structure that covers your essentials, but don't anchor on that figure; top performers in this market typically clear 15,000 to 30,000 AED monthly once their pipeline is active, so negotiate for a higher commission split or a draw against future earnings if the base feels low.
