About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever wondered what it feels like to be the very first smile a guest meets in one of Dubai’s most distinguished hotels? As our new Receptionist in the heart of Burjuman, you’ll be at the center of the action — welcoming guests, making lasting impressions, and ensuring every check-in and check-out is seamless. If you thrive on connecting with people and want to build a career in hospitality, this is your invitation to join a team that values warmth and professionalism in equal measure.
About the Company
We’re not just another hotel — we’re a cornerstone of the Burjuman hospitality scene, known for our blend of luxury, comfort, and genuine care. Our team is an energetic mix of seasoned hoteliers and fresh faces, all united by a love for delivering memorable experiences. Life here moves quickly (as you’d expect in Dubai!), but there’s always time for a laugh at the front desk or a quick espresso before the morning rush. We believe in supporting each other, recognizing great work, and celebrating the small wins — whether it’s a glowing guest review or a team member’s birthday.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greet guests with a sincere smile and a helpful attitude as soon as they step through our doors.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, making the process smooth and efficient for travelers from all over the world.

- Respond to guest inquiries — whether it’s recommending a local restaurant or helping with a last-minute room request.
- Maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area that sets the tone for our entire hotel.
- Juggle multiple tasks with grace, from answering phone calls to coordinating with housekeeping, especially during busy periods.
- Resolve minor guest concerns on the spot and know when to involve a supervisor for more complex issues.
- Support your teammates — after all, a friendly word or quick handover can make all the difference on a bustling shift.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong communication skills in English (bonus points if you speak another language commonly used in Dubai).
- A cheerful, approachable personality — guests remember your smile!
- Confidence in handling cash and card payments with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a lively, fast-paced lobby environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of the hospitality world.
- Basic computer literacy; you’re comfortable learning new systems and tools.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

- Competitive salary package: AED 2700–3000, paid on time, every time.
- Comprehensive benefits as per UAE labor law, including health insurance and annual leave.
- Vibrant, supportive team culture — we have each other’s backs, especially on busy days.
- Opportunities for training and career advancement within a respected hotel brand.
