About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Let’s be honest: running a restaurant is a blend of high energy, fast decisions, and heartfelt hospitality. If you thrive on the buzz of a full dining room, know your way around a team huddle, and pride yourself on turning first-time guests into loyal regulars, this opportunity in Dubai Marina might just be your calling. We’re searching for a Restaurant Manager/Supervisor — someone ready to take the lead, elevate standards, and help shape memorable moments in one of Dubai’s most vibrant districts.
About the Company
Picture this: a group of restaurants connected by a genuine love of great food, friendly service, and the melting-pot spirit of Dubai. Our hospitality group is known for blending global flavors with local flair (and yes, Friday tastings sometimes go a little longer than planned). We’re upfront about our values: respect, growth, and teamwork, no matter how busy the shift. The team you’ll join believes in learning by doing and celebrates both big wins and small improvements — over coffee, of course.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading daily restaurant operations to ensure everything runs smoothly from open to close.
- Coaching, supporting, and scheduling your front- and back-of-house team — we’re talking baristas to bussers.
- Monitoring service flow and jumping in to solve problems before guests even notice.
- Handling tricky customer situations with patience and a smile, always aiming to turn issues into positive experiences.
- Overseeing inventory, keeping an eagle eye on supplies, and collaborating with the kitchen to minimize wastage.
- Maintaining health and safety standards and ensuring compliance with all local regulations.
- Brainstorming with the team to develop promotions, improve processes, or spice up the menu (your ideas are welcome here).
- Training and onboarding new staff, sharing your passion for hospitality with every new addition.
- Creating shift reports and providing feedback to upper management on what’s going well — and where we can improve.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience as a restaurant manager, supervisor, or senior floor staff — ideally in a busy environment.
- Genuine leadership skills with the ability to motivate and unite a multicultural team.
- Strong problem-solving instincts, with a knack for thinking on your feet.
- Excellent English communication skills; other language skills are a big bonus in our diverse setting.
- Familiarity with basic restaurant POS systems, inventory processes, and local hygiene standards.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in the Dubai dining scene — or other fast-paced international cities.
- A taste for innovation or creative menu ideas.
- Arabic language skills.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Two-year residency sponsorship, so you can settle in and focus on your growth.
- Comprehensive health insurance coverage for peace of mind.
- Shared accommodation and reliable transportation, taking the stress out of logistics.
- Supportive team culture — we celebrate milestones, help each other out, and genuinely enjoy coming to work.
- Hands-on management and lots of chances to learn new skills, take on responsibility, and make a visible impact.
- The unbeatable location: Dubai Marina, with its energy, views, and pulse of the city.
Here, we don’t just work together; we create experiences our guests remember — and we hope you’ll help make each one even better.
