About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you the type of person who instinctively surveys every construction site for potential hazards—and immediately starts imagining solutions? If you’re a detail-oriented, quick-on-your-feet Safety Engineer with DM & DDA certifications, this opportunity might feel like it has your name on it. Join a leading Dubai-based contracting firm in Al Qusais, where your strong safety know-how is not just wanted, but urgently needed to keep dynamic, high-profile projects moving smoothly and safely.
About the Company
Our company isn’t just another name in Dubai’s ever-changing skyline—we’re a close-knit team that takes incredible pride in delivering complex builds on time and, most importantly, with everyone going home safely each day. Here, safety isn’t an afterthought or a checkbox. It’s a value that runs through our Friday all-hands and our impromptu site coffee breaks. We grow fast, face new challenges daily, and genuinely celebrate every project milestone—together.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee daily site operations to ensure strict compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM) and Dubai Development Authority (DDA) safety regulations

- Develop and implement comprehensive site-specific safety plans that go beyond the minimum checklist
- Investigate incidents (no matter how small), find their root causes, and drive practical solutions so they don’t happen again
- Champion a culture of proactive safety, running training sessions and sharing best practices that actually stick
- Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, and local authorities to keep everyone in the safety loop
- Maintain meticulous safety documentation and ensure all site records are up-to-date before the next inspector stops by
- Respond quickly to urgent safety concerns—sometimes before others even raise the flag
