About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Are you someone who gets genuinely excited about helping businesses operate smarter and more efficiently? We’re searching for a Sales Executive who thrives on connecting innovative accounting and POS software solutions with customers who need them most. This isn’t just another sales gig — it’s your chance to make a tangible impact on the fast-evolving UAE market, while working with products that actually move the needle for our clients.

About the Company

We’re a close-knit team passionate about making daily business life smoother for everyone — from neighborhood retailers to bustling restaurants and ambitious entrepreneurs. Our office has the lively hum of people swapping ideas (and sometimes dessert recommendations), and you’ll find that collaboration is more than just a buzzword for us. We’re not one of those faceless corporations; you’ll get to know everyone, including our product team that loves feedback from the field. If the words “open door” mean something to you, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building meaningful relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their pain points and helping them find the right fit within our software lineup.
  • Demonstrating POS and accounting software solutions in person and online — you know how to turn a feature list into a real-world solution.
  • Collaborating with our technical and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and happy, long-term users.
  • Keeping a close eye on market trends and competitor activities, always ready to adjust your sales pitch or suggest new product features.
  • Consistently hitting (or exceeding!) your sales targets with a mix of persistence and creative thinking.
  • Providing follow-up training or consultation where needed — we believe the sale isn’t finished until the customer is truly satisfied.
  • Reporting your progress, insights, and wins to the management team, sharing best practices and the occasional humble brag.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in selling software solutions or Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Solid understanding of the accounting software landscape, with the ability to translate technical features into clear business benefits.
  • Confident communication skills in English (written and verbal) — you’re comfortable presenting and negotiating with all sorts of personalities.
  • A self-starter attitude: you see opportunities, not obstacles.
  • UAE market familiarity and a valid driver’s license — you know your way around the area.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Fluency in additional languages (Arabic is always a plus).
  • Previous experience working with SMBs in retail, hospitality, F&B, or similar sectors.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and digital sales pipelines.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary plus uncapped commission — your performance is truly rewarded, not just talked about.
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid/remote options based on client and team needs.
  • Team that roots for your success — we celebrate wins together (and we never say no to cake).
  • Regular training and product workshops to keep you on top of the latest and greatest.
  • Career growth opportunities — as we expand, you do too.
  • Annual team outings, casual dress policy, and a culture that prioritizes well-being.

You’ll join a workplace where your ideas matter and your results are recognized. If you’re looking for a role where you can combine ambition with genuine impact, this could be the next great move for you.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Can you walk me through your approach to selling accounting or POS software to a business that’s new to these solutions?
  • Tell us about a time when you successfully tailored a software demo to address a client’s unique business pain points. What was your process and what was the outcome?
  • How do you stay informed about trends and competitor developments in the UAE market, and how do you use that information to your advantage in sales conversations?
  • Imagine a client is interested in our POS software but hesitant about switching from their current system. How would you overcome their objections and build trust?
  • Which CRM tools or sales pipeline platforms have you used in previous roles, and how did they impact your workflow?
  • Describe a situation where collaborating with technical or support teams helped you close a sale or deliver better customer outcomes.
  • How have you ensured a client’s successful onboarding and ongoing satisfaction after a sale, especially with software products?
  • Share an example of a time you didn’t hit your sales target. How did you respond, and what did you do differently moving forward?
  • What strategies do you use to maintain motivation and persistence when sales cycles become challenging or lengthy?
  • How do you balance individual drive with team collaboration, especially in a close-knit environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged?
  • Our company culture values open feedback and celebrating collective wins. Can you give an example of a time you contributed to a team’s success and how you celebrated achievements together?
  • When faced with competing priorities, how do you decide where to focus your efforts to deliver the best results for both customers and your team?
  • What excites you most about selling business software in the UAE market, and how do you see yourself making a meaningful impact here?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For a Sales Executive role specializing in software and POS solutions with at least two years of experience and strong industry knowledge, you should expect a base salary of at least 6,000–9,000 AED per month in the UAE. Similar roles often include an attractive commission structure, so high performers can significantly increase their total earnings. If you bring additional language skills or experience with high-growth sectors like F&B or retail, you may be able to negotiate towards the higher end of this range or beyond.
