About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Sales Executive — Kitchen Installation Works
Great salespeople don't just close deals — they solve problems, build trust, and turn a one-time client into a lifelong one. If that sounds like you, Al-Hilal Factory for Kitchen Installation Works in Sharjah's Industrial Area 15 is looking to add a full-time Sales Executive to our growing Sales Department. This isn't a role where you'll be pushing products people don't need; it's about genuinely understanding what a client wants for their kitchen and guiding them from that first phone call all the way to a finished, beautiful installation.
About Al-Hilal Factory
We're a kitchen installation factory based in Industrial Area 15, Sharjah — the kind of place where sawdust in the air and the hum of machinery mean business is good. Over the years, we've built our reputation not on flashy marketing, but on word-of-mouth referrals from clients who trusted us with their homes and businesses and came back for more. Our team is a mix of designers, production hands, and salespeople who actually talk to each other — because a kitchen doesn't come together in silos, and neither do we.
We're at a stage where demand keeps growing, and we need someone on the sales side who can keep up without letting the personal touch slip. If you like the idea of working closely with a tight-knit team where your contribution is visible and valued, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Be Doing
- Be the first point of contact for new and existing clients — answering inquiries, following up on requests, and making sure nobody feels forgotten.
- Really listen to what a client needs, then translate that into practical, suitable solutions alongside our design team.
- Prepare quotations with accuracy and care, and follow up on them until they turn into confirmed orders.
- Coordinate daily with the design and production teams so that what's promised to the client is what actually gets built.
- Stay in touch with clients through every stage of the order, right up to completion and handover.
- Keep track of your pipeline and follow-ups — no lead should go cold on your watch.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who's comfortable talking to people, organized enough to juggle several clients at once, and genuinely invested in seeing a project through.
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience in a sales role — ideally in kitchen installations, fit-outs, interiors, or a related field.
- Experience preparing quotations and following up on them to close.
- Strong communication skills in Arabic and/or English, with a friendly, professional manner.
- The ability to coordinate with multiple internal teams without dropping the ball.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with kitchen design concepts or installation processes.
- A valid UAE driving license.
- Experience working with clients in Sharjah and the wider UAE market.
Not sure you tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you — attitude and willingness to learn often matter more than a perfect checklist.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Full-time, stable position in a well-established factory with a steady stream of projects.
- Hands-on role where you see the results of your work — literally, in finished kitchens across the emirate.
- Supportive team culture — you're not left to figure things out alone; design and production are right there with you.
- Growth potential — as we expand, so do the opportunities for the people who grow with us.
- Convenient location in Sharjah's Industrial Area 15, easy to reach from most parts of the city.
At the end of the day, this is a role for someone who enjoys the human side of sales — the conversations, the follow-ups, the moment a client says "yes." If that's you, we'd be glad to have you on the team.
Common Interview Questions and Tips
To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.
- Walk me through how you'd handle a client who calls in with a rough idea of what they want for their kitchen but no clear budget or timeline. How do you move that conversation toward a quotation?
- What's your process for preparing a quotation from scratch? What details do you make sure are included so the client doesn't come back with surprises later?
- Can you describe a time you had to coordinate between a client and an internal team — design, production, or otherwise — to make sure what was promised actually got delivered?
- How familiar are you with kitchen design concepts or installation processes? Tell us about a project where that knowledge helped you sell or problem-solve.
- Imagine a client goes quiet after you send a quotation. What does your follow-up look like over the next two weeks, and how do you decide when to keep pushing versus when to let it rest?
- How do you keep track of multiple clients and follow-ups at once? Walk us through the tools or habits that keep your pipeline from slipping.
- Tell me about a sale you're proud of — not necessarily the biggest, but one where you felt you really solved a problem for the client.
- Describe a time a client was unhappy or a project didn't go as planned. What did you do, and what did you learn from it?
- Have you ever lost a deal you thought was in the bag? What happened, and how did you handle it?
- This role involves a lot of back-and-forth with design and production teams who are busy with their own work. How do you make sure you get what you need without becoming a nuisance?
- What draws you to working in a factory environment rather than a showroom or corporate sales office? Be honest — it's not for everyone.
- How would you describe your communication style with clients who speak a different language or come from a different cultural background than you?
- When you think about a "successful sale," what does that mean to you
