About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Sales Executive — Real Estate (Sharjah)
Ever thought about what it takes to turn a first-time buyer's nervous phone call into the keys to their dream home? That's the daily thrill of life at Al Saqr Al Shamikh Real Estate, and we're looking for someone to join our sales team in Al Qulai'a, Sharjah. Whether you're a seasoned closer or a fresh graduate with fire in your belly, if you can talk to people, listen harder than you talk, and actually mean it when you say you'll follow up — we want to meet you. Real estate in Sharjah is moving, and we'd rather grow with hungry talent than wait for perfect résumés.
About Us
Al Saqr Al Shamikh Real Estate is part of a group of established real estate companies operating across Sharjah, and we've built our reputation the slow, honest way: one satisfied client at a time. Our Al Qulai'a office is a busy, close-knit floor — deals get celebrated, bad days get shouldered together, and nobody here is too senior to answer the phone. We're at a stage where the team is expanding, which means the people who join now won't just fill a desk. They'll help shape how we sell, how we follow up, and how we treat the families and investors who trust us with their biggest decisions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Handle inbound leads and enquiries across property portals, WhatsApp, and walk-ins — and yes, you'll be the voice on the other end of that call
- Match buyers and tenants with the right properties by actually listening to what they need, not just what's on your list
- Post, refresh, and manage listings on property websites so our units stay visible and competitive
- Arrange and attend viewings — sometimes in the morning, sometimes after work hours, because that's when clients are free
- Negotiate confidently and follow deals through paperwork, follow-ups, and handover without dropping the ball
- Keep your pipeline organized and your promises real; our clients remember both
- Learn the Sharjah market — areas, pricing, trends — and keep learning, because this industry never sits still
What You'll Bring
Must-haves:
- A strong academic background — diploma or degree, any discipline
- Genuine persuasiveness and the confidence to hold a conversation with anyone, from a first-time renter to a seasoned investor
- Some sales experience in any field (retail, telecom, banking, cars — it all counts), or the drive of a fresh graduate ready to prove themselves
- Comfort with real estate websites and portals, or the willingness to pick them up fast
- Ambition that shows — you want to earn, grow, and be good at this
Nice-to-haves:
- Arabic and English fluency (a big plus with our client base)
- A UAE driving license
- Prior exposure to Sharjah or Dubai property markets
Not sure you tick every box? Honestly, neither were half our best people on day one. Apply anyway.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Real earning potential: Monthly salary plus a commission structure and incentives tied to a clear monthly target — your effort shows up in your paycheck
- Room to grow: Training, mentorship, and a team that wants you to level up, not stay put
- Supportive floor: Managers who work deals alongside you, not from behind a closed door
- Variety every day: No two clients, no two properties, no two days the same
- A group, not just an office: Being part of a wider network of real estate companies means more listings, more leads, and more chances to close
We're not promising a quiet, predictable job — this is sales, and sales rewards the persistent. But if you're ambitious, coachable, and ready to build something real in Sharjah's property market, this is a genuinely good place to do it.
Common Interview Questions and Tips
To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.
- Walk me through how you'd handle an inbound lead that comes in through a property portal at 9 PM on a Friday. What does your first response look like, and what happens next?
- A buyer tells you their budget is AED 800,000, but every property you show them that they actually like is closer to AED 1.1 million. How do you move that conversation forward without losing them?
- Tell me about a time you lost a sale you were sure you had. What happened, and what did you do differently on the next one?
- Which property portals and listing platforms have you worked with before, and how would you keep a unit visible and competitive in a crowded Sharjah market?
- Describe a situation where a client went quiet on you after a viewing. What did you do to bring them back — or did you?
- How would you explain the difference between a good deal and a rushed deal to a first-time buyer who's feeling pressure from family to just sign something?
- Give me an example of a time you had to negotiate with someone who held most of the cards. How did you keep the deal alive?
- This role involves viewings in the morning and sometimes after hours. How do you manage your time and energy when your schedule isn't a straight 9 to 6?
- Tell me about a moment when a customer or client was upset with you. How did you handle it, and what was the outcome?
- What made you want to get into real estate specifically, and why Sharjah rather than somewhere else?
- How do you feel about working on a floor where deals get celebrated out loud and bad days get shared? What kind of teammate are you when things aren't going well?
- If a colleague's client called the office while they were out and you could have poached the lead, what would you do?
