About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered what it’s like to help someone plan their dream escape — and watch that trip take shape, step by step? As a Sales & Marketing Executive with our vibrant team on Al Najda Street, you’ll do just that: connect people with unforgettable journeys while building your own rewarding career in the ever-evolving travel industry. If you love turning inquiries into bookings and thrive in a dynamic, friendly environment, you might be the next standout addition to our growing company.

About the Company

Nestled right in the heart of Abu Dhabi, we’re more than just a travel agency — we’re passionate explorers and meticulous planners, united by the joy of helping others see the world. Our office buzzes with a mix of seasoned industry pros and fresh thinkers, each bringing a special edge to Friday brainstorms and midweek coffee catch-ups. We’re proud of our deep roots in the UAE travel scene, our strong relationships with airlines and travel partners, and our reputation for going the extra mile (sometimes literally) for our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Engage with clients via email, phone, and in-person at our Al Najda St. office, understanding their travel dreams and practical needs.
  • Guide customers through the ins and outs of airline ticketing, from first quote to final booking confirmation.
  • Design tailored holiday packages — whether it’s a sun-soaked getaway or a cultural adventure — using your knowledge of destinations and client preferences.
  • Respond to inquiries about visa services, clearly outlining requirements and following up until applications are submitted and approved.
  • Maintain organized records of leads, follow-ups, and bookings, ensuring every client feels remembered and valued.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative promotions and reach new audiences through social channels and local partnerships.
  • Stay updated on travel trends, airline updates, and visa regulations to provide clients with accurate and timely information.
  • Handle occasional tricky requests or changes (as is common in tourism!) with patience, professionalism, and a solutions-first mindset.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • At least 2 years of experience in sales and marketing within the UAE travel and tourism sector.
  • Proven expertise in airline ticketing, holiday packages, and handling visa services — you know the ropes and can spot a good deal a mile away.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (and ideally, a touch of Arabic or another language — it’s a plus, not a must).
  • Confident handling client inquiries, persistent with follow-ups, and focused on converting leads into bookings.
  • Tech-savvy with common booking platforms, CRM systems, and a knack for staying organized.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous experience with local Abu Dhabi clientele or corporate travel groups.
  • Flair for creative marketing, whether through social media or traditional channels.
  • A passion for travel — maybe your passport has a few stories!

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary and commission structure — your wins are rewarded.
  • Supportive, diverse team that believes in sharing knowledge…and the occasional homemade baklava at lunch.
  • Central Abu Dhabi location, easy to reach and right in the middle of the action.
  • Ongoing learning opportunities — we encourage staff to attend trade shows and industry training.
  • Modern office environment, with flexibility for occasional remote work based on business needs.
  • Room to grow: ambitious contributors quickly find opportunities for advancement.

People come to us for memorable trips — but they stay for a sense of purpose, teamwork, and the sheer excitement of what each day brings. If you’re motivated by happy clients and a tight-knit, ambitious crew, you might have just found your travel home.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Walk me through your process for handling a client inquiry about airline ticketing — how do you translate their initial questions into a confirmed booking?
  • Can you share an example of a tailored holiday package you’ve designed based on a client’s unique preferences? What steps did you take to make sure it stood out?
  • What booking platforms and CRM systems have you worked with, and how do you stay organized when managing multiple leads and follow-ups simultaneously?
  • How do you keep yourself updated on the latest airline promotions, travel trends, and visa regulations, and how does that knowledge benefit your clients?
  • Describe your approach when a client’s visa application is delayed or requires extra follow-up. How do you keep both the process and the client on track?
  • Have you ever had to turn a complicated or unhappy client situation around? What did you do, and what was the outcome?
  • Tell us about a time you worked alongside a marketing or creative team to launch a successful campaign or promotion. What was your contribution?
  • Imagine a situation where two clients want peak travel dates but only one package is available. How would you handle their expectations and decide how to proceed?
  • In our lively office, teamwork matters. How do you typically contribute to brainstorming sessions or informal team catch-ups?
  • We value persistence in turning leads into bookings. Could you describe a situation where your follow-up strategy led to a key sale?
  • How do you balance your own career goals with supporting broader team success in a fast-paced, target-driven environment?
  • Diversity and sharing knowledge are big here. What’s something unique you’ve brought to previous teams (whether a skill, a cultural insight, or even just a great travel tip)?
  • What draws you to work at a travel agency in the heart of Abu Dhabi, and how do you see yourself contributing to our company’s culture and reputation?
  • If you could design a dream travel package for yourself, where would you go and how would you make that experience special?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

You should expect a base salary of at least 4,000–6,000 AED per month for a Sales & Marketing Executive role in Abu Dhabi’s travel and tourism sector, given your experience and the specialized nature of the work (including ticketing, holiday packages, and visa services). Many companies in this field also offer commission on sales, so there is real potential to boost your monthly earnings beyond the base pay if you meet booking targets. When negotiating, consider the overall package—including incentives and opportunities for growth—which can be a strong advantage in this industry.
