What You’ll Be Doing
- Staying in regular contact with our contracted clients—answering questions, solving problems, and making sure they always feel valued
- Actively seeking out new business opportunities, from lead research to meeting potential partners and pitching our services
- Negotiating, finalizing, and helping onboard new contract partners so they start strong
- Overseeing the day-to-day details of current agreements, catching hiccups before they become headaches
- Preparing concise, insightful sales reports to help guide our next moves
- Collaborating closely with operations and logistics, ensuring smooth delivery and service from order to invoice
- Keeping an ear to the ground for market trends or new competitor offerings—we love someone who’s curious!
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Previous experience in sales and operations, ideally in the food supply or related sector (if you know your way around a produce list or supplier contract, even better)
- Comfortable communicating with everyone from warehouse staff to C-suite clients—clear, friendly, and always professional
- Strong organizational skills; you’ll be juggling several projects at once without dropping the ball
- Ability to create and review reports (it doesn’t have to be your favorite part, but you know how to spot key numbers)
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with CRMs or basic sales/operations software
