About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Dreaming of turning your love of chocolate (and a great chat) into a rewarding career? As a Sales Associate at our boutique chocolate, confectionery, and gift shop in Baniyas, Dubai, you'll be at the heart of bringing sweet moments to life. This isn’t just another retail gig—it’s a chance to work in a fast-paced, joyful setting where your personality and people skills matter as much as your sales talent. With competitive pay, commissions, and a welcoming team, there’s a real opportunity to grow and enjoy your work. Curious? You might just be the perfect fit.
About the Company
We’ve been sprinkling a little magic into everyday life with carefully curated chocolates, exquisite confections, and thoughtful gifts. Our team is an eclectic mix—Dubai locals, new arrivals, and lifelong chocolate enthusiasts—bonded by our passion for quality and a friendly, customer-first vibe. There’s always something to celebrate here: new product launches, creative displays, or just the daily buzz of helping someone pick out the perfect treat. We don’t just sell chocolate; we create small moments of joy in the community, one box at a time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting every customer with a warm smile and genuine curiosity—think of yourself as a chocolate matchmaker!
- Guiding guests through our range of sweets, confections, and gift combos to help them find exactly what they’re after (or something delightfully unexpected).
- Handling daily sales transactions at the register, ensuring accuracy and a smooth check-out experience.
- Replenishing shelves and making sure our displays always look fresh, inviting, and Instagram-worthy.
- Keeping up with product knowledge so you can share the stories behind our brands and specialty items.
- Pitching in with seasonal campaigns, special gift wrapping, or prepping for local holidays and events.
- Occasionally lending a hand with inventory, basic stock keeping, or brainstorming ideas for creative in-store promotions.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- A friendly, approachable manner with customers from all walks of life (Arabic, English, or other language skills? Even better!)
- Some previous retail, sales, or hospitality experience—chocolates and gifts a plus, but not required.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and special occasions.
- Presentable appearance and a good standard of personal grooming—this is the gift business, after all!
- If you’re visiting the UAE, you must be inside the country and ready for an in-person interview (residency visa sponsorship is available upon hiring).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with POS systems or past experience in confectionery or gift retail.
- Extra energy during busy holiday periods—if you secretly love the festive rush, you’ll fit right in.
- Ability to suggest creative gifting ideas to undecided shoppers.
Not sure you tick every single box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Monthly salary package from AED 2,800–3,500 (tailored to your experience), plus attractive sales commissions.
- Residency visa sponsorship available for the right candidates.
- Supportive team culture—newcomers are welcomed and everyone pitches in.
- Consistent shifts and fair rostering, with time to rest and recharge.
- Special training on product lines and customer service, so you can feel confident from day one.
