About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever found yourself at the heart of a busy office, keeping things humming along with your knack for organization and a friendly word for everyone? At MK Contracting, we’re looking for just that kind of Secretary — someone who thrives on supporting a dynamic team and making sure no detail slips through the cracks. This is your opportunity to join us in Dubai Investment Park, where your skills will help shape the daily rhythm of a growing company with big plans on the horizon.

About MK Contracting

MK Contracting isn’t your average workplace. We’re a close-knit crew, blending experience with fresh perspectives, and we genuinely care about the people who walk through our doors every morning. Around here, you’ll find a professional but approachable environment — the kind where colleagues swap stories over coffee and everyone pitches in when a deadline looms. We’re expanding, and that means you’ll play an integral part in shaping how our office runs as we take on new projects across Dubai.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serving as the main point of contact for internal and external communications — from greeting visitors to fielding phone calls with a smile.
  • Managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and keeping calendars (and people) running on time.
  • Drafting, proofreading, and formatting correspondence, reports, and documents with attention to detail.
  • Organizing and maintaining both digital and physical filing systems, so nothing ever gets lost in the shuffle.
  • Supporting day-to-day office operations: ordering supplies, liaising with vendors, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Handling confidential information with the utmost professional discretion.
  • Pitching in with light bookkeeping or invoice follow-up when needed (don’t worry, we’ll show you the ropes if you’re new to this part).

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a secretarial or administrative role (bonus points if you’ve worked in a similar contracting or office environment).
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English — you’re comfortable drafting emails, reports, or chatting on the phone.
  • Strong organizational skills — you love making lists, setting reminders, and helping everyone stay on track.
  • A positive attitude and approachable manner, whether dealing with colleagues or clients.
  • Confidence working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with document management systems.
  • Experience supporting a small-to-midsize team.
  • A flair for problem-solving or coming up with creative ways to streamline office tasks.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive base salary of AED 2,500 plus allowances.
  • Friendly, supportive team culture — people genuinely look out for one another here.
  • Professional office environment in the heart of Dubai Investment Park.
  • Opportunities for growth as MK Contracting continues to expand.
  • A place where your organizational superpowers are truly appreciated (and needed!).

You’ll find that we’re not just looking for someone to fill a desk; we want a colleague who’ll grow with us as we take on new challenges. If you’re ready to bring your skills to a team that values what you do, we can’t wait to meet you.
