About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Looking for a role where no two days (or project sites) are the same? We’re on the hunt for a resourceful, hands-on Site Engineer to join our accomplished team here in the United Arab Emirates. If you thrive on turning blueprints into real, lasting spaces and you know the rhythm of civil construction in the UAE by heart, this opportunity offers a front-row seat to projects that shape communities—particularly in effervescent hubs like Muhammad Bin Zayed City. Think you’re up for the challenge?
About the Company
We’re not your run-of-the-mill construction outfit. Here, growth is more than a buzzword—the company has doubled in size over the last five years, but kept the close-knit culture where team successes are genuinely celebrated (and, yes, often over shared manakish or post-work pool games). Our projects range from ambitious new builds to clever refurbishments—all steered with a “people first” attitude and a belief in honest, clear communication. Fridays tend to wrap with a quick project demo, plenty of camaraderie, and the shared satisfaction of a week well done.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising daily site operations across civil construction sites in Muhammad Bin Zayed City and neighboring areas.
- Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of project phases.
- Conducting regular site inspections and quality checks—your eagle-eyed attention means standards are always met or exceeded.
- Troubleshooting issues on the spot (sometimes that means throwing on a hard hat and boots to pitch in).
- Preparing progress reports, updating project documentation, and communicating clearly with both office and on-site teams.
- Overseeing implementation of safety protocols and proactively addressing any site concerns.
- Driving between sites as needed, ensuring each location upholds our reputation for efficiency, safety, and quality.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 5 years’ hands-on UAE experience as a Site Engineer in civil construction—local know-how is non-negotiable.
- Valid UAE Driving License (essential for site visits and project oversight).
- Strong command of civil construction methods and best practices, especially as they relate to UAE standards and climate.
- Proven ability to manage multiple project sites and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
Nice-to-Haves:
- Working knowledge of Arabic.
- Experience with construction project management software.
- Creativity in solving on-site challenges, with a can-do spirit.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary package tailored to UAE market standards.
- Car allowance or company vehicle for site work.
- Supportive, multicultural team—everyone’s voice counts.
- Regular professional development opportunities (and encouragement to pursue them).

- Occasional company outings, sports days, and Friday team lunches.
We work hard and look out for each other. If you’re after a role where your expertise is genuinely valued and your impact is clear, you’ll fit right in here. Let’s build something great together.
