About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever wondered what it takes to keep a construction site running smoothly, rain or shine? If you take genuine pride in concrete work and thrive on guiding teams to build things that last, this Site Supervisor (Civil Works) opportunity might be just the challenge you’re after. We’re searching for someone who knows the ropes of civil construction, especially when it comes to concrete — and who can turn a set of plans into something you’re proud to point out for years to come. Our projects are growing fast, and we need a steady hand in Mussafah M45 to help keep quality (and morale) high.
About the Company
We’re a close-knit team backed by decades in the regional construction industry, with a reputation for delivering on tight timelines without compromising on craft. What sets us apart? It’s our people — supervisors who roll up their sleeves, planners who stop by the site in their hard hats, and teammates who know each site lunch is a bit of a family meal. We believe in building structures and careers that stand the test of time. On Fridays, you’ll often find us reviewing the week’s progress over karak or coffee, swapping stories, and troubleshooting as a team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee daily on-site operations for civil and concrete works, resolving issues as they arise.
- Coordinate workforce schedules and site logistics to keep everything on track.
- Ensure materials, tools, and machinery are available — and well cared-for — before work begins each day.
- Monitor quality and safety standards, conducting regular site inspections and toolbox talks.
- Liaise closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure plans and timelines are followed.
- Solve problems quickly — whether that’s a concrete mix issue or a weather delay.
- Prepare basic progress reports and communicate updates in clear, professional English.
- Help mentor and motivate your on-site team, setting expectations and celebrating wins (big and small).
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven hands-on experience in concrete-related construction sites (think foundations, slabs, and all the details in between).
- Good knowledge of civil work processes, methods, and safety best practices.
- Strong site handling and team coordination skills — people trust you to lead from the front.
- Top-notch communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Willingness and ability to work at our Mussafah M45 sites.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Some proficiency in Arabic — always a plus on a diverse site!
- Past experience in a supervisory or foreman role on large-scale civil projects.
- Familiarity with site documentation and reporting tools.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive compensation — and prompt, reliable pay.
- Supportive team culture — you’re never just a number.
- Opportunities for advancement; many of our supervisors started here as tradespeople.
- Regular site lunches and end-of-week team check-ins.
- PPE, safety training, and all the essentials provided.
- A sense of pride that comes from working on projects you’ll actually see in the community for years to come.
If collaboration, craft, and clear purpose matter to you, you’ll fit right in with us. Come help us build the future — one pour at a time.
