About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to set the tone and tell the story of a brand through every image, reel, and witty caption? As our next Social Media & Content Specialist, you’ll be the creative force behind our digital presence — bringing fresh ideas, bold visuals, and smart strategy to our TikTok and Instagram accounts. If you thrive in creative chaos and love blending photography, video, design, and clever content into a standout online voice, this might just be your new favorite job.
About the Company
We’re a fast-paced, ever-evolving company making waves in our industry — and we’re definitely not your typical corporate crew. While our team works hard to stay ahead of trends, there’s always a real sense of camaraderie (and maybe a few too many memes in the Slack chat). We genuinely care about each other’s growth, celebrate wins big and small, and aren’t afraid to try things that are a little out of the box. Think creative brainstorms that occasionally spill into coffee runs, and weekly check-ins where your ideas are encouraged (and actually put into practice).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Mapping out, creating, and publishing high-impact content for our TikTok and Instagram channels — from quick behind-the-scenes stories to scroll-stopping video edits.
- Planning and executing regular photo and video shoots with the team, products, or customers; editing content to match our brand style.
- Keeping a close eye on social media trends and algorithm shifts, so our strategy always feels current and clever (never stale).
- Writing engaging captions, headlines, and post copy that sound fresh — and feel genuinely “us.”
- Monitoring community engagement, responding to comments, and sparking authentic conversations (not just dropping emoji replies).
- Analyzing post performance and sharing actionable insights, always hunting for ways to improve our reach and impact.
- Working closely with designers, marketers, and product folks to make sure our content is on-message and eye-catching.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience creating content for social channels, especially TikTok and Instagram (portfolios or sample accounts are a huge plus).
- Strong skills in photography, videography, and hands-on editing — both images and short-form video.
- Eye for design and experience working with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar.
- Up-to-date knowledge of social media best practices, algorithms, and what makes people stop scrolling.
- Excellent written communication skills and a knack for on-brand storytelling — you can make even a product restock sound like headline news.
Bonus Points For:
- Animation skills or experience with motion graphics.
- Experience working with influencers or running paid social campaigns.
- Background in lifestyle, tech, or D2C brands.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Hybrid/remote-friendly setup — work from our creative studio, your favorite café, or the comfort of home.
- Competitive salary with professional growth opportunities (we love promoting from within).
- Health and wellness benefits, paid time off, plus a personal “creative days” allowance to recharge or explore new ideas.
- Creative, collaborative team who genuinely appreciate the little things — whether it’s a team lunch, a meme-off, or celebrating viral wins together.
- Access to top equipment, paid training resources, and support for personal creative projects.
We believe in empowering our creative team, trusting them to experiment, and cheering them on as they turn wild ideas into real results — and maybe even have some fun along the way.
