About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself thinking about what keeps the wheels of global trade turning—especially from the heart of Jebel Ali, Dubai's vibrant logistics hub? As a Supply Chain Officer on our growing operations team, you’ll be right where action meets impact. This isn’t just a numbers game: it’s about balancing relationships, staying ahead of demand, and making sure our supply train never skips a beat. What’s in it for you? The chance to work at a critical link in a thriving region, with stability and personal growth built right in.
About the Company
We’re a dynamic force in Dubai’s logistics scene, built on teamwork, innovation, and a shared sense of purpose. Our office buzzes with practical energy (and yes, you’re just as likely to swap stories about last-mile miracles as you are to review shipping manifests). We believe in clear communication, rolling up sleeves, and having each other’s backs—whether we’re onboarding a new vendor or racing to meet a tight delivery window. You’ll also find a truly international flavor here, with voices and backgrounds from across the globe meeting together over lunch in the break room.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily procurement activities to ensure our inventory is stocked—without causing bottlenecks or overages.
- Building and maintaining relationships with both local and international suppliers—negotiating, clarifying, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Closely monitoring inventory levels, running regular audits, and flagging gaps or surpluses before they become problems.
- Coordinating the logistics of goods flow—from order placement and shipping, right up to arrival and storage.
- Assisting our supply chain manager with everything from urgent order escalations to implementing process improvements.
- Keeping accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
- Collaborating with warehouse and finance colleagues to deliver a smooth end-to-end supply chain experience.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 2 years in a supply chain, procurement, or logistics-related role—ideally in the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, especially when priorities shift quickly.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities; you don’t let the details slip by.
- Comfort with inventory management systems and Excel (if you can teach us a shortcut, even better).
- Problem-solving mindset—you see obstacles as puzzles to solve, not as brick walls.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working in Jebel Ali or a similar free zone environment.
- Fluency in additional languages (Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic can be especially helpful).
- Knowledge of import/export procedures in the Middle East.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Two-year UAE residency visa sponsorship—a stable path for your career and future.
- Health insurance that covers your essentials, so you can focus on work (and life).
- Provided accommodation and daily transportation—no stressful commutes or last-minute apartment hunting.
- Supportive, international team where your ideas and contributions matter from day one.
- Opportunities for professional growth, training, and taking on more responsibility as you grow with us.
- A place where hard work is recognized and days pass quickly—because there’s always something new happening.
If you want to be more than just another cog in the wheel, and instead actually help steer a thriving supply operation, this is a team where you’ll feel at home.
