What You’ll Be Doing
- Install, configure, and test a variety of audio-visual and IT equipment for virtual production setups
- Troubleshoot technical issues on the fly (whether it’s a cable gone rogue or mysterious software glitch)
- Set up and monitor live broadcast systems, making adjustments in real time to ensure smooth delivery
- Collaborate with producers, engineers, and creative leads to meet evolving production needs
- Maintain equipment inventory and perform routine checks and preventative maintenance
- Support new tech rollouts by learning, documenting, and training the team on best practices
- Occasionally jump in on after-hours setups or critical system upgrades (flexibility is always a plus)
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Strong English communication skills — you can explain tech concepts clearly, even to non-techies
- Solid working knowledge of professional camera systems (setup, adjustments, troubleshooting)
- Experience with audio-visual equipment (switchers, audio boards, monitors, etc.)
- Proven ability to quickly diagnose and solve technical issues under pressure
- Comfort working both independently and closely within a small, collaborative team
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with live streaming platforms and production software (e.g., vMix, OBS, Wirecast)
- Some IT chops — think network basics or setting up routers/access points for production
- Previous exposure to virtual production or hybrid event environments
