About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever looked at a beautiful piece of furniture and thought about all the skilled hands that brought it to life? At Al Khairat Furniture & Decor, we don’t just imagine it—we make it happen every day. We’re growing fast, and right now, we’re on the hunt for talented tradespeople and hard-working helpers who are ready to roll up their sleeves and join us in crafting quality pieces that fill homes, offices, and spaces across the region. Whether your skills lie in welding, carpentry, painting, or general labor, if you take pride in your work, there’s a home for you here—starting right away.

About Al Khairat Furniture & Decor

Nestled behind Al Mubarak Hypermarket in Industrial Area 5—just a stone’s throw from JNP Signal—our workshop is always buzzing with energy, laughter, and the hum of skilled hands at work. We’re a close-knit team: some of us start each morning with strong chai, others with a quiet focus, but all of us share a passion for building quality furniture that stands the test of time. Fridays often mean a little extra camaraderie, and there’s always someone willing to teach a new trick or share a story from the shop floor. We value commitment, craft, and above all, working together like family.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Joining the workshop team to produce, assemble, or finish metal and wooden furniture pieces with care and precision.
  • For welders and MIG specialists: cutting, welding, and shaping metal components—sometimes following plans, sometimes improvising on the fly.
  • As a carpenter: measuring, cutting, joining, and finishing wood for furniture frames, panels, and fittings.
  • If you’re a PU spray painter: mixing paints to the right shade and texture, ensuring flawless application on metal or wood surfaces.
  • For helpers and laborers: supporting skilled workers by preparing materials, moving finished products, keeping the workspace tidy, and lending a hand wherever it’s needed.
  • Pitching in as part of a multi-skilled crew—sometimes the job changes quickly, so flexibility is key.
  • Putting safety and quality first, because pride in your work shows in every piece that leaves our shop.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • Hands-on experience in at least one of these areas: welding (especially MIG), metal fabrication, wooden furniture carpentry, industrial spraying/painting, or workshop labor.
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and help team members succeed.
  • Physical fitness and stamina for a busy workshop environment.
  • Genuine care for the craft—whether it’s a perfect weld, a smooth finish, or a well-swept floor.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous experience in a high-volume furniture or metalwork factory.
  • Knowledge of reading technical drawings or blueprints.
  • Familiarity with safe workshop practices and good housekeeping.
  • For painters: skill with color mixing or specialty finishes.

Not sure you cover every single item? If you’re ready to work hard and grow with us, we’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary package with regular overtime—your effort is valued, and those extra hours pay off.
  • Free staff accommodation—rest easy knowing your housing is taken care of.
  • Friendly, multicultural team that welcomes new faces and talents.
  • Workplace legends who share know-how and look out for each other.
  • Room to learn, try new roles, and advance your skills over time.
  • Special shop lunch breaks, team support, and honest appreciation for a job well done.

We believe your skill and dedication deserve more than just a payslip—they deserve a place to belong, grow, and be proud of the work you do. Think it’s a fit? We can’t wait to meet you.
