Responsibilities

As a Gas Station Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all customers receive prompt and courteous assistance. Your daily tasks will include:

• Greeting customers with a warm and positive attitude as they arrive at the station
• Pumping gasoline safely and efficiently for all types of vehicles
• Cleaning vehicle windows to enhance driver visibility and satisfaction
• Checking fluid levels such as engine oil, coolant, and windshield washer fluid upon request
• Measuring tire pressure and assisting with basic tire maintenance or inflation
• Processing payments accurately using cash, credit, or debit cards through our point-of-sale system
• Maintaining cleanliness of the work area, including fuel pumps, forecourt, and customer service areas
• Monitoring safety protocols to ensure the station operates in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Assisting with stock management by reporting inventory needs for fuel and other consumables
• Providing information about station services, promotions, and products as needed

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who bring energy, reliability, and a genuine willingness to help others. The ideal applicant will possess:

• A friendly and approachable demeanor, with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
• Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting or bending
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
• Previous customer service or retail experience is an advantage, but not mandatory; on-site training will be provided
• Conversational English is essential; additional language skills are a plus
