About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever imagined seeing your design ideas shape the skyline of one of the world’s fastest-growing cities? Here’s your chance. We’re searching for an Architectural Draftsman who thrives on transforming concepts into precise and buildable plans, right in the heart of Business Bay, Dubai. If you’re passionate about the nuts and bolts of architecture — and love the idea of having a direct impact on ambitious projects — you’ll find yourself at home here.
Who We Are
Picture a dynamic practice where creative energy meets practical expertise. Our team believes that every building tells a story — and we’re on a mission to create inspiring spaces that genuinely improve the lives of those who use them. Collaboration? It’s in our DNA. You’ll find our designers bouncing ideas over coffee, project managers running impromptu whiteboard sessions, and Friday afternoons reserved for team brainstorming. We take pride in fusing international standards with the vibrant pulse of Dubai, always aiming for both excellence and camaraderie.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Draft comprehensive architectural plans, elevations, and sections using 3ds Max, AutoCAD, Revit, or your preferred design tools.
- Translate sketches and design concepts into detailed, accurate construction drawings that make complex ideas clear and workable on site.
- Coordinate closely with structural, MEP, interior design, and landscape teams to ensure seamless integration across disciplines — you’ll be the glue that holds the vision together.
- Prepare and submit all necessary drawings and documents for authority approvals, including Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, and others (no two submissions are quite the same).
- Update and refine drawings based on review feedback, whether from consultants, clients, or the authorities — flexibility and attention to detail will serve you well.
- Keep project documentation organized and accessible, supporting teammates and consultants as deadlines approach.
- Stay updated on local codes and standards, ensuring every submission is accurate and compliant.
