About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Do you dream in blueprints — but keep one foot planted firmly on the job site? We’re looking for a talented Architect to join our Dubai-based team in Business Bay, where your ideas will shape some of the city’s most dynamic new spaces. This isn’t just about drawing sleek lines; it’s about collaborating with visionaries and ensuring every detail stands up to Dubai’s high standards (and ever-evolving skyline). If you thrive equally in brainstorming sessions and concrete pours, let’s talk.
About the Company
We’re not your run-of-the-mill architecture studio. Our team is a diverse mix—think seasoned architects mentoring eager newcomers, all united by a genuine passion for impactful design. We believe great spaces start with great conversations, whether we’re swapping sketches over strong coffee or giving spontaneous tours of our latest builds. Growth here isn’t just encouraged, it’s expected; with Dubai booming, your career will, too. Oh, and did we mention our monthly design challenge? Bragging rights (and coffee) are on the line.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Meeting with clients to understand their visions, functional needs, and project goals—then turning those into inspiring concepts
- Creating detailed architectural drawings, plans, and 3D renderings using tools like AutoCAD and Revit
- Collaborating daily with consultants (think structural engineers, interior designers) to integrate ideas and troubleshoot potential snags
- Navigating the ins and outs of local building codes, permits, and compliance in Dubai—accuracy is your superpower
- Overseeing progress on-site by working closely with construction teams to ensure your vision comes to life (and handling hiccups with grace)
- Presenting proposals and updates to both stakeholders and teammates—your ability to explain big ideas in clear terms is key
- Continuously researching new materials, sustainable design trends, and technologies to keep our projects at the forefront
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Architecture
- Minimum 3 years’ experience designing and managing commercial or residential projects
- Proven skills in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of Dubai’s building codes and regulatory environment
- Detail-oriented with a knack for creative problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills—in English and, ideally, a working knowledge of Arabic
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with sustainable architecture or LEED certifications
- Previous experience in the Business Bay area is a plus
- Passion for community-engaged design or public spaces
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Flexible work arrangements—hybrid options available
- Competitive compensation and annual performance bonuses
- Comprehensive health insurance for you and your dependents
- Learning stipend and paid time off for professional development
- Team lunches, office outings, and truly collaborative spirit
- Opportunities to work on high-profile projects shaping Dubai’s skyline
Here, your growth matters just as much as your next great design. We’re proud of the spaces we create—and the people who create them. Come build with us.
