About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever pictured yourself surrounded by beautiful fabrics and the shimmer of new dress collections daily? If you love helping customers feel their best and have a flair for style (or needlework!), this could be the boutique role made for you. We’re looking for enthusiastic women to join our close-knit team in Khor Fakkan — both as Sales Assistants and as Tailoring Assistants. Whether your passion is friendly customer service or perfecting a fit, your day is sure to be varied and rewarding here.
About the Company
We’re a popular women's dress boutique in the heart of Khor Fakkan, where personalized service meets a love for fashion. Our team is small but mighty — everyone pitches in, whether it’s styling the mannequins for a new launch or swapping tailoring tips. We believe shopping for clothes (and working with them) should be joyful, supportive, and just a little bit fun. You’ll often catch our staff chatting with regulars, trading style advice, or celebrating a particularly great alteration. We might be boutique-sized, but our ambitions are roomy!
What You’ll Be Doing
If you join as a Sales Assistant, you’ll:
- Greet every customer, offer help, and create a genuinely welcoming vibe
- Assist shoppers in finding the perfect dress for any occasion (from formal events to casual meets)
- Handle cashier duties — ringing up sales with accuracy and a smile
- Keep the boutique looking lovely: restocking, tidying, and organizing displays
- Pitch in during busy periods with unpacking new arrivals or helping with small shop events
If you come onboard as a Tailoring Assistant, you’ll:
- Work with different fabrics and styles to alter dresses — think shortening hems, letting out seams, or adjusting fit as requested
- Collaborate with customers and sales staff to ensure alterations match expectations
- Maintain a tidy work area and handle garments with care
- Offer advice on tailoring options to help clients feel truly confident in their choices
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Female candidates only, as this is a women-focused boutique
- Friendly, approachable attitude and genuine enjoyment of customer interaction
- For Sales Assistant: Good communication skills (Arabic and/or English handy!), basic math for cashier work, neat appearance
- For Tailoring Assistant: Hands-on experience with alterations (shortening, lengthening, tightening, widening), basic sewing knowledge
- Willingness to be flexible, multitask, and take initiative in a small-team environment
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in retail, fashion, or tailoring shops
- A love for current dress trends or a creative eye for style
- Comfort using a sewing machine for more complex alterations
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Accommodation provided for those who need it (or a higher salary if you don’t)
- Competitive salary (AED 1200–1400 with accommodation, AED 1500–1700 without)
- Lively, supportive all-female team who celebrate every small win
- Staff discounts on boutique dresses and tailoring services
