What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across key sectors in the UAE interior design market
- Strategizing and executing business development plans that expand our client base and strengthen our market positioning
- Building, mentoring, and motivating a small but mighty team focused on client acquisition and relationship management
- Leveraging your established network to open doors with developers, architects, consultants, and end users
- Remaining up-to-date on design trends, competitor offerings, and market shifts to adapt strategies proactively
- Leading client presentations, negotiations, and contract finalizations—often setting the tone for long-term partnerships
- Collaborating closely with our passionate design and execution teams to ensure promises made to clients are promises kept
- Streamlining internal processes to improve efficiency and team satisfaction
- Attending industry events and representing the company at key networking opportunities
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- A university degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- Minimum 5 years of business development experience within the UAE interior design industry
- Deep understanding of the local market and current trends
- An expansive personal network—think developers, architects, consultants, and clients who take your call
- Demonstrated team management and leadership abilities
- Stellar communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Strong organizational sense, with the ability to juggle priorities and deadlines
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior experience growing an early-stage or fast-growing design business
- Existing relationships with suppliers or contractors
- Familiarity with CRM and business development tools
- A flair for creative pitch presentations
