About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever considered playing a crucial role in making some of the UAE’s most innovative buildings safer? This could be your moment. International Quality Building Contracting (IQBC) is looking to partner with a Civil Defence Approved Fire Safety Sub-Contractor — someone who truly knows the standards, the stakes, and the evolving landscape of building protection. With a notable project in the pipeline, we’re seeking a collaborator ready to deliver excellence in fire fighting and alarm systems, raising the bar for safety across Dubai (and perhaps, together, even beyond).

About International Quality Building Contracting (IQBC)

We’re not just another construction company — IQBC has carved out a reputation for quality execution and forward-thinking solutions across the UAE. Our team thrives on collaboration, mutual respect, and a bit of spirited discussion (especially in our lively project huddles). While we take our deadlines seriously, we never compromise on doing things the right way, and we value partners who bring ideas and integrity to the table. Growth is woven into our fabric — not just in terms of business, but in how we support each other through challenges and breakthroughs alike.

What You’ll Be Doing (Scope of Work)

  • Supplying all required materials and components for certified fire fighting systems and modern fire alarm systems
  • Installing both fire fighting and fire alarm systems within a high-profile building project, adhering strictly to UAE Civil Defence regulations
  • Coordinating closely with IQBC’s project management team and other contractors to ensure seamless integration with ongoing construction activities
  • Testing and commissioning your systems to verify full compliance and operational reliability, readying the building for inspection and occupancy
  • Providing complete documentation and as-built drawings as required for local authority approvals and internal records
  • Supporting handover and maintenance training, helping ensure that staff and occupants can operate safety systems confidently

What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)

Must-Haves:

  • Certified and registered status as a Civil Defence Approved Contractor within the UAE
  • Demonstrable track record delivering fire fighting and fire alarm system contracts for commercial or mixed-use buildings
  • Local expertise in UAE Civil Defence codes and inspection processes
  • Complete technical capability for supply, installation, and testing — not just “supply only”
  • Proven ability to manage timelines and coordinate with multi-discipline teams in an active construction environment
  • Robust health, safety, and quality procedures

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with state-of-the-art/largest-scale fire safety technologies
  • Prior partnership with IQBC or comparable main contractors
  • Skilled, English-speaking site supervisors for client-facing coordination

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here (Benefits & Perks)

  • Straightforward, timely payments and clear contract terms
  • Direct and respectful partnership — expect transparency, not red tape
  • Opportunities to showcase your expertise on visible, high-standard projects
  • Fast-tracked collaboration for future IQBC development work
  • Supportive, engaged main contractor backing you up every step of the way
  • A culture where safety, quality, and teamwork are not just promised — but practiced daily

If you value partnership that grows beyond a single project, and appreciate a work environment that respects quality as much as you do, you’ll fit in well here. This is more than just fulfilling a scope — it’s joining a project team where your contribution truly matters.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For Fire Safety Sub-Contractor roles that are Civil Defence approved and actively involved in both supply and installation of fire fighting and alarm systems on major commercial projects in Dubai, you should expect a monthly contract rate ranging from 25,000 to 45,000 AED, depending on project complexity and your company’s track record. Similar partnerships often involve milestone-based payments, so be sure to factor in delivery stages and retention terms when negotiating. Given the high profile and technical requirements, don’t hesitate to position your proposal at the higher end if you bring extensive experience or advanced certifications.
