About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered how iconic Dubai skylines and neighborhoods come to life, from blueprint to breathtaking reality? As our next Civil Engineer (Dubai Municipality G 4 Approved), you’ll get to be at the heart of that transformation. This role is about more than compliance checks—it’s about shaping spaces that people live, work, and thrive in, all while navigating the fast-paced, ever-evolving construction scene of Dubai.

About the Company

Based in the buzzing hub of Apricot Tower, Al Liwan 2, we’re a team that genuinely enjoys building together—literally and figuratively. Our culture blends professionalism with a touch of camaraderie (think: site visits followed by impromptu coffee breaks and lively project debates). As a growing firm, we’re known for tackling challenging projects and believing that everyone’s perspective—junior or senior—has a place at the table. We act fast, we support each other, and we’re proud of turning ambitious plans into real structures that stand out.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing daily civil construction activities on-site, ensuring work aligns with DM (Dubai Municipality) regulations and the project’s approved plans.
  • Leading site teams: guiding supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors—solving snags as they arise.
  • Reviewing, interpreting, and clarifying technical drawings and specifications to ensure everyone’s on the same page.
  • Preparing and submitting required DM documentation, permits, and inspection requests.
  • Coordinating closely with consultants, clients, and internal teams, keeping communication tight and transparent.
  • Troubleshooting issues—sometimes at a moment’s notice—and offering practical solutions that keep quality and timelines on track.
  • Maintaining meticulous records of site progress, safety protocols, and compliance checks.
  • Championing site safety, quality control, and environmentally responsible practices—no shortcuts, no exceptions.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Valid Dubai Municipality (DM) G 4 License/Approval.
  • Civil Engineering degree (BSc or higher) from an accredited institution.
  • Proven track record (3+ years) managing civil construction projects in the UAE.
  • Solid knowledge of DM regulations, documentation, and inspection processes.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills—you can explain the “why” as easily as the “how.”
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and still maintain attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Hands-on experience with Autocad, MS Project, or similar project management tools.
  • UAE driving license.
  • Multilingual skills (especially Arabic and English).

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary, plus performance-based bonus incentives.
  • Support for professional growth: DM renewal fees covered, and plenty of room to advance.
  • Genuine team spirit—collaborative, supportive, and open to new ideas.
  • Modern, conveniently located office in Dubai Silicon Oasis, with on-site parking.
  • Flexible approach to work-life balance—you’ll find understanding when juggling site visits and personal commitments.
  • Regular team gatherings, and a sense of pride seeing your projects rise from the ground up.

We know that building lasting structures starts with building a supportive team. Here, you’ll do meaningful work, develop your skills, and help shape the future of Dubai’s ever-evolving landscape.

  • Describe how you handle competing priorities and deadlines on busy sites. What techniques have helped you stay organized and detail-oriented under pressure?
  • Can you provide an example of how you’ve advocated for site safety or environmentally friendly practices, even if it meant challenging the status quo?
  • Our team values open debate and sharing ideas at all levels. Can you share an experience where your input—no matter your role—helped shape a project’s direction?
  • What role does collaboration play in your daily work, and how do you foster a strong sense of teamwork among diverse groups on-site?

  • Why are you interested in joining a growing company with a fast-paced, collaborative culture like ours, and how do you see yourself contributing to that environment?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

You should expect a salary of at least 8,000 to 12,000 AED per month for a Civil Engineer with Dubai Municipality G 4 Approval and 3+ years of UAE experience, as similar qualified professionals in Dubai’s construction sector typically fall within this range. For those bringing additional skills like strong software expertise or a UAE driving license, offers toward the higher end or slightly above could be negotiable, especially given the demand for site-ready engineers who understand local regulations.
