What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee daily site activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors (yes — getting everyone on the same page is key).
- Manage regular authority inspections and ensure all documentation is up to date for Dubai Municipality and Trakhees.
- Review and interpret plans, making technical decisions on the fly to solve problems as they arise.
- Liaise directly with client representatives — you’ll be their go-to technical resource on site.
- Prepare progress reports; flagging issues early and offering practical solutions.
- Guide and mentor junior site engineers and supervisors, passing on hard-earned local insights.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in UAE construction or building projects.
- Dubai Municipality Approval – G 12 (please highlight on your CV).
- Trakhees Approval (you know the ropes with local authorities).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Solid knowledge of site supervision, authority inspections, and consultant coordination in Dubai.
- Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach — you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with the latest construction tech or project management tools.
- Experience mentoring or leading a small team.
