About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever pictured yourself shaping the skyline of Dubai, one project at a time? As a Civil Engineer with our vibrant contracting team in Dubai Marina, you'll be at the heart of transforming architectural visions into reality. This isn’t just another desk job — it’s a chance to put your expertise to work across some of the city’s most ambitious builds. If you’re eager to see the tangible results of your efforts while enjoying a supportive, fast-paced environment, you could be the engineer we’re looking for.
About the Company
We’re a close-knit but rapidly growing contracting firm based right in Dubai Marina — a place that buzzes with creativity (and more than a few strong coffees on early site mornings). Our team is made up of problem-solvers and idea-sharers who thrive on collaboration, celebrate Friday pizza lunches, and genuinely have each other’s backs. The work is dynamic, the projects are high-profile, and the bar for quality is set (deliberately) high.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing day-to-day operations on multiple construction sites, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely
- Conducting regular quality checks and inspections, making sure all work meets industry standards and project specifications
- Coordinating with subcontractors, site workers, and suppliers to keep everything (and everyone) aligned
- Preparing site reports, progress updates, and technical documentation — clarity is key
- Troubleshooting any on-site challenges with solutions that keep timelines (and budgets) on track
- Liaising with project managers and clients to provide updates or flag any important issues early
- Staying ahead of regulatory requirements and safety protocols relevant to Dubai’s contracting standards
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- Proven, hands-on experience supervising construction projects in the UAE
- Strong working knowledge of local building codes and standards
- Confident communicator, both on site and in written reports
- Currently residing in the UAE and ready for a site-based role
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with construction management software
- UAE driving license
- Fluency in multiple languages (especially English and Arabic)
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary range: AED 7,000 – 8,000/month
- Robust support system, with senior engineers always happy to lend an ear (or a second opinion)
- Annual paid leave and a two-year renewable contract — designed for long-term growth
- Positive, team-focused atmosphere where your contributions actually matter
- Direct exposure to landmark projects in Dubai’s most dynamic neighborhood
- Friday lunches, regular team gatherings, and a workplace culture built on respect, learning, and a few bad puns
There’s real purpose in what we build, and in how we support each other along the way. We can’t wait to see the mark you’ll make here.
