What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily site operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality on every project.
- Supervising site teams and subcontractors; providing guidance and troubleshooting on the ground as needed.
- Reviewing plans, drawings, and quantities to keep everything on track and within scope.
- Preparing detailed schedules and progress reports using project management tools.
- Coordinating with architects, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries.
- Taking accurate stock and measurements — making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Using software like AutoCAD, Primavera, and MS Project to plan, track, and document progress.
- Proactively identifying potential challenges and collaborating with management to solve them.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience within the UAE, ideally Dubai.
- Exceptional skills in supervising on-site construction with a detail-oriented approach.
- Solid command of AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent engineering software.
- Confidence preparing accurate reports, schedules, and material quantity take-offs.
- Strong communication skills in English—clear, professional, and to the point.
- Ability to remain calm, proactive, and focused, even in the busiest moments.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with Dubai’s unique regulations and building environment.
- Previous experience on high-rise or commercial builds.
