What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily site activities to ensure construction quality, safety, and progress meet project plans
- Liaising directly with contractors, foremen, and suppliers – you’ll be the friendly (and firm) point of contact everyone relies on
- Interpreting technical drawings and ensuring implementation matches approved designs
- Identifying and resolving on-site issues before they become headaches for the team or the client
- Preparing regular progress reports and keeping senior engineers in the loop
- Supporting procurement by checking material quality and advising on site needs
- Ensuring all site activities comply with UAE regulations and safety standards
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- SOE (Society of Engineers) membership valid in UAE
- Practical on-site experience in building projects (internships or prior jobs count!)
- Strong grasp of construction methods, materials, and safety practices
- Clear, confident communicator in English
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt on busy worksites
Nice-to-Haves
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar planning tools
- Prior experience in the Sharjah or UAE construction sector
- Basic Arabic language skills
