What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on your role, you’ll be:

  • Civil Engineer (DM Licensed, G1): Overseeing on-site operations, ensuring compliance with Dubai Municipality standards, and guiding project execution from blueprint to handover.
  • Supervisor (with Driving License): Coordinating daily site activities, managing teams, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and tasks — sometimes hopping between sites as needed.
  • Mason (Tiles & Plaster): Laying tiles with a craftsman’s eye, delivering smooth plaster finishes, and tackling tricky corners with skill.
  • Gypsumboard Carpenter: Installing partition walls, ceilings, and decorative trims, ensuring precision and a clean finish every time.
  • Electrician (with Plumbing Knowledge): Wiring buildings safely, troubleshooting issues, and handling basic plumbing fixes to keep projects running smoothly.
  • Duct Technician: Assembling, installing, and repairing duct systems for ventilation and air conditioning, making sure every connection is airtight.
  • Painter: Prepping, priming, and painting surfaces for a flawless final look — no drips, just details.
  • Helper: Supporting skilled workers, carrying materials, and keeping the site organized and safe.
  • AC Technician: Installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning units, making sure everyone stays cool in the Dubai heat.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Relevant hands-on experience in your field (minimum 2 years preferred)
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Teamwork and a positive attitude, even when the temperature rises
  • For supervisors and engineers: valid DM license (where applicable) and UAE driving license
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience on Dubai-based projects
  • Multilingual skills (Arabic, English, Hindi, or Urdu)
  • Flexibility to take on extra tasks when needed

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For roles like these in Dubai’s construction sector, you should expect a monthly salary of at least 10,000–16,000 AED for a DM-licensed Civil Engineer (G1), 5,000–8,000 AED for Supervisors, and 2,000–4,000 AED for skilled trades such as masons, carpenters, electricians, duct technicians, painters, and AC technicians.
