About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever looked at a challenging construction site and thought, “I can bring order to this chaos?” If so, you might be just who we’re searching for. Our growing dewatering company, based in Abu Hail, Dubai, is on the hunt for a skilled Civil Site Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to put your infrastructure expertise to the test, overseeing projects where your site smarts truly shape the city’s future. You’ll play a pivotal role in steering site operations, bridging technical execution with real-world impact — and all right here in the heart of Dubai’s evolving landscape.
About Us
We’re a tight-knit team with big ambitions — and a knack for tackling the “messy middle” where infrastructure meets practical, on-the-ground problem solving. Our company has carved out a niche in the dewatering sector across Dubai, partnering on projects that keep the region moving forward (and dry on schedule). Day-to-day, you’ll notice our crew is hands-on and collaborative, never far from the action or a good-natured discussion on how to do things better. Oh, and if you love a challenge, you’ll fit right in: we’re that team that genuinely enjoys turning a difficult site into a case study for success.
What You’ll Be Doing

- Coordinating daily with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to keep everyone aligned and informed
- Managing resource allocation — materials, machinery, manpower — so nothing (and no one) is left idle
- Troubleshooting challenges as they arise, whether it’s a technical hiccup or a tricky client request
- Preparing and reviewing work reports, site documentation, and progress updates for stakeholders
- Acting as the go-to person on-site, from the first light of day to final site checks in the evening
- Ensuring all work complies with Dubai regulations, project specifications, and best practices
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 3 years of civil site engineering experience within the UAE infrastructure sector
- Strong background in handling day-to-day site operations, especially for large-scale groundwork and dewatering projects
- Confident communicator — can collaborate warmly with consultants, contractors, and clients alike
- Proficiency with site documentation, reporting, and resource coordination
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to rapidly changing site needs
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in dewatering or similar specialist construction environments
- Familiarity with the paperwork/jargon unique to Dubai projects
- Problem-solver mentality — you’re not afraid to make tough calls when needed
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary package, reviewed annually
