What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinating on-site civil engineering activities to ensure that projects meet timelines, budgets, and safety standards
- Liaising with Dubai authorities and ensuring compliance with all Dubai Municipality regulations and permitting requirements
- Overseeing site preparation, material deliveries, and subcontractor operations to keep everything running smoothly
- Troubleshooting design and construction challenges as they pop up — and proposing practical solutions
- Conducting regular site inspections and progress reviews, keeping all stakeholders in the loop with timely updates
- Maintaining meticulous site documentation, safety reports, and quality checks — your organizational skills are crucial here
- Collaborating closely with architects, consultants, and the wider project team from groundbreaking to handover
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 5 years of professional experience in site civil engineering within Dubai
- Proven, hands-on experience working directly with Dubai authorities — particularly Dubai Municipality
- Valid UAE driving license (Dubai)
- Strong communication skills (both on-site and in documentation), with the ability to adapt to a dynamic team environment
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with a range of project management software or site supervision tools
- Previous experience in diverse building types — commercial, mixed-use, etc.
- A knack for building positive relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
