About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Curious about the real-world impact you can have as a Structural Engineer? If you thrive in dynamic environments and love seeing projects progress from blueprint to reality, this role could be your next move. Our engineering consultancy, nestled on Dubai’s iconic Sheikh Zayed Road, is looking for a hands-on Structural Engineer with UAE experience to join us on-site — where your technical insight meets the pulse of cutting-edge construction.

About the Company

We’re an established consultancy at the heart of Dubai’s ever-evolving skyline. Our team is a blend of seasoned professionals and fresh thinkers, all driven by a shared commitment to excellence and innovation. Collaboration is our cornerstone — from impromptu brainstorming over coffee to celebrating milestones together (we take our project delivery days pretty seriously). Here, your voice is heard, your experience matters, and your growth is part of our mission.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing daily site operations — keeping a close eye on construction progress and identifying any potential delays or challenges early on.
  • Monitoring compliance with approved structural drawings, technical specifications, and regulatory safety requirements — your attention to detail keeps our projects on course.
  • Coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to resolve site issues and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Preparing and reviewing reports on construction status, noting any deviations or concerns for internal and client updates.
  • Participating in site meetings — bringing practical insight and collaborative energy to cross-disciplinary discussions.
  • Ensuring all works adhere to both internal quality standards and local authority regulations.
  • Being a reliable point-of-contact for clarifications on site, always ready to advise or troubleshoot in real time.

What You’ll Bring

  • Must-Haves:

    • At least 3 years of structural engineering experience in the UAE (you know the lay of the land, literally and figuratively).
    • Proven track record in site supervision on mid- to large-scale projects.
    • Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical documentation, and compliance procedures.
    • Confident communication skills for liaising across multiple teams and stakeholders.
    • Commitment to upholding safety on-site, always.
  • Nice-to-Haves:

    • Previous experience working with reputable consultancy offices in Dubai or the wider UAE.
    • Fluency in both written and spoken Arabic.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of new materials, sustainable methods, or digital tools in construction monitoring.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Prime location — our office is right on Sheikh Zayed Road, at the heart of Dubai’s engineering action.
  • Supportive colleagues — from your buddy engineer on Day 1 to our Friday knowledge-sharing sessions, you’re never on your own.
  • Career growth — we actively encourage professional development, certifications, and peer learning.
  • Competitive salary & benefits — with health insurance, paid time off, and annual performance reviews.
  • A culture of respect and recognition — good work gets noticed, and initiative is always rewarded.
  • Flexible work approach — while this is an on-site role, we understand the value of work-life balance and do our best to support it.

Here, your expertise truly shapes the spaces where Dubai’s future unfolds. If you’re ready to leave your mark, let’s talk!

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For a Structural Engineer with at least 3 years of UAE-based experience, especially within a reputable consultancy in Dubai, you should expect a monthly salary in the range of 8,000 to 14,000 AED, depending on your technical skills and project portfolio.
