What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily site operations, ensuring timelines and quality standards are consistently met
- Coordinating work between subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site labor, smoothing out any bumps along the way
- Implementing and enforcing strict health and safety practices—no cutting corners here
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings, flagging and resolving discrepancies early
- Leading toolbox talks and providing hands-on support and guidance to team members
- Monitoring progress, resource allocation, and material usage to keep projects on budget
- Preparing and submitting regular site reports, updates, and recommendations to project managers
- Serving as the first point of contact for client representatives and consultants on site
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant site supervision experience (civil, commercial, or infrastructure projects)
- Strong leadership skills with a knack for motivating diverse site teams
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies and UAE labor regulations
- Ability to read technical drawings and spot potential roadblocks before they escalate
- Currently based inside the UAE
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Certificate or diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Proficiency in project management software like MS Project or Primavera
- Familiarity with local authority procedures and permit processes
- Spoken Arabic is a plus
