What You’ll Be Doing
Depending on your trade, your days may look a little different, but here’s a taste of what you could be working on:
- Assisting with various site tasks as a Helper—always keeping safety and teamwork in mind.
- Installing, securing, and aligning steel reinforcements (Steel Fixer) for formwork and concrete pours.
- Constructing and dismantling wooden molds (Shuttering Carpenter) with precision and care.
- Laying bricks, stones, or blocks as a Mason to create sturdy structural work.
- Prepping and finishing surfaces, delivering clean, sharp paintwork (Painter) on every project.
- Wiring up building systems or tackling site electrical challenges (Electrician) safely and efficiently.
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems (Plumber) that keep every site running smoothly.
- Erecting safe, stable scaffolding for fellow team members as a Scaffolder.
- Fabricating and assembling metal parts (Fabricator), from blueprints to final product.
- Handling welding operations to merge, strengthen, and fix crucial components (Welder).
- Routing and securing ductwork for efficient HVAC systems (Ductman).
- Cutting, fixing, and finishing aluminum installations (Aluminum Fitter), bringing sleek lines to every building.
What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
Must-Haves:
- Prior experience in your chosen trade (from Helper to Aluminum Fitter and anywhere in between)
- Basic communication skills (English or Hindi/Urdu helpful for team coordination)
- Physical fitness and a can-do, respectful attitude on the job site
- Valid visit visa or freelancer visa allowing you to work in Dubai
- A commitment to safety protocols every single day
Nice-to-Haves:
- Multi-trade skills or flexibility to assist other teams
- UAE construction site experience
- Awareness of Dubai’s construction codes and best practices
