About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what goes on behind the gleaming skylines of Dubai’s islands? Here’s your chance to leave your mark on architectural history. We’re looking for two seasoned Draftsmen to join our Aluminum & Facade Division — right at the heart of an ambitious Dubai Islands project. If you know your way around aluminum, glazing, and facade systems, and you’re ready to dive in (literally, immediate joiners only!), this might be your opportunity to shape some of the city’s most iconic structures.
About Us
We’re not simply raising buildings — we’re building legacies across Dubai’s evolving horizon. Our team thrives on collaboration, curiosity, and respect for every skill set that walks through our doors. The Aluminum & Facade Division isn’t just a cog in the wheel here: it’s a core creative force. Expect weekly project walk-throughs, coffee-fuelled brainstorming sessions, and an environment where your technical eye and creative spirit are equally valued. If you’ve ever wanted to see your designs realized on a city-sized scale, you’ll feel right at home.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for aluminum and facade works, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
- Interpreting architectural and structural drawings, and translating them into workable solutions for our site team.
- Collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and installers to clarify requirements and resolve technical challenges on the fly.
- Coordinating with suppliers to confirm material compatibility and availability, sometimes running quick fact-checks via site visits.
- Revising and updating drawings based on client feedback or site amendments — flexibility is key!
- Organizing and maintaining drawing documentation, both digitally and in print.
- Bringing your on-the-ground insight to weekly team meetings, identifying design risks before they become roadblocks.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 2–7 years’ hands-on drafting experience, specifically in aluminum, glazing, and facade systems.
- Previous UAE or broader Gulf region exposure to facade projects — you know the local standards, climate considerations, and workflow quirks.
- Strong command of AutoCAD (and ideally Revit or similar software) for crisp, accurate technical drawings.
- Immediate availability and current presence in the UAE.
- Practical understanding of cladding, curtain wall, and fenestration detailing.
- A keen eye for spatial detail and buildability — you know what works at site level.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience supporting high-rise or island-based developments.
- Familiarity with aluminum fabrication processes or installation logistics.
- Working knowledge of BIM, 3D modeling, or shop drawing automation tools.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary and project-based incentives, with clear progression pathways.
- On-the-ground exposure to one of Dubai’s spotlight projects — massive learning potential, especially for facades specialists.
- Supportive team with direct access to project leadership (zero bureaucracy, real collaboration).
- Regular site visits and skill-sharing workshops — we don’t keep you chained to a desk.
- Friendly, multicultural crew who value humor, hustle, and real respect.
- Flexible approach to time off, acknowledging the demands of big project cycles.
- Plus, the satisfaction of seeing your work reflected across the city skyline.
You’ll join a team that celebrates technical excellence, problem-solving, and camaraderie — all while working on a project you’ll be proud to point out for years to come.
