What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of AC systems, including DX and split units — from minor hiccups to major overhauls
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on equipment to maximize efficiency and lifespan
- Troubleshoot HVAC system faults methodically, using both technical expertise and good old engineering intuition
- Oversee installation, commissioning, or upgrades of AC units for residential and commercial sites
- Coordinate with the maintenance team and occasionally step in to mentor junior staff or share best practices
- Document all work — findings, repairs, and recommendations — to ensure transparent communication with clients and the internal team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies and industry standards (we’re always learning around here!)
- Respond swiftly to emergency repair requests, knowing how vital AC is in the Dubai climate
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with AC maintenance — especially DX units and split systems
- Confidence in troubleshooting and resolving complex HVAC issues under pressure
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance protocols and industry best practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills (clear service reports are a must)
- Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a supportive team
Nice-to-Haves
- UAE driving license
- Experience with advanced or energy-efficient HVAC tech
- Prior work in Dubai or the wider GCC market
- Additional certifications (F-Gas, OSHA, etc.)
