Introduction

Are you an electrical engineer with a knack for navigating the ins and outs of Dubai’s fast-evolving construction landscape? Here’s an opening that might just spark your next big career move. Our contracting company in Deira, Dubai, is on the lookout for a skilled Electrical Engineer who’s ready to hit the ground running—immediately. If you thrive in environments where regulatory expertise meets hands-on project action, this opportunity could be right up your alley.

About the Company

Based in the historic heart of Deira, our company has earned a reputation for delivering complex contracting projects on time—and with a genuine sense of teamwork. We’re big on collaboration, open-door communication, and learning from each project we tackle. Whether it’s daily site huddles or celebrating project milestones (with way too much kunafa in the break room), you’ll find a team that values both professional rigor and real camaraderie. We take pride in mentoring our engineers, sharing best practices, and making sure every voice gets heard.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing detailed electrical design drawings, load schedules, and related project documentation for a variety of commercial and residential builds

  • Collaborating with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and problem-solving on the ground
  • Participating in client and consultant meetings—explaining technical concerns in layman’s terms when needed
  • Keeping up-to-date records, tracking project documentation, and supporting the close-out process with accurate as-builts

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • Recognized degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong working knowledge of DEWA regulations and proven track record securing approvals
  • Proficiency with electrical design/AutoCAD software
  • Dubai Municipality (DM) classification as an Engineer
  • Solid experience preparing load schedules and project documentation within the UAE contracting sector
  • Ability to work under pressure and juggle shifting site priorities

Nice-to-Haves

  • Prior hands-on experience with mid-rise or mixed-use construction projects in Dubai
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic
  • Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient electrical design principles

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary with regular reviews (we know your expertise is valuable)
  • Supportive team environment where mentorship and skill-sharing are part of the daily routine
  • Real opportunities for responsibility and growth—show initiative, and you’ll have room to advance
  • Convenient Deira location, with quick access to public transport and endless lunch options
  • Positive work culture with company events, skill-development sessions, and the occasional lunchtime trivia
  • Flexible approach to overtime and site hours when the unexpected happens

We recognize the importance of balancing challenging work with a friendly, respectful atmosphere. Bring your expertise, and you’ll find a team genuinely invested in helping you succeed.
