About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered what it’s like to keep a major construction project energized and on track? Joining us as an Electrical Foreman in Dubai puts you at the center of it all, powering some of the city’s most dynamic sites. If you love the buzz of a growing project and the satisfaction that comes from seeing a team succeed together, this role could be just the spark you’re looking for.

About the Company

We’re a hands-on construction firm with a footprint across the UAE, currently buzzing with new projects—especially in Damac Hills 2, Dubai. Our crew is known for pulling together to get things done, but we also make space to celebrate the wins (you might find us swapping stories over karak after a long week). Growth is more than a buzzword here—it’s how we work, how we think, and how we support each other, from the job site to head office.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the on-site electrical works for commercial and residential projects, ensuring quality and safety at every step
  • Supervising, motivating, and mentoring a team of electricians and helpers—making sure everyone’s clear on what needs to happen next
  • Coordinating daily tasks, manpower, and materials to keep the timeline on track (no one likes surprises except birthday parties)
  • Reading and interpreting electrical plans/diagrams, and clarifying them for your crew when things get complicated
  • Liaising with engineers, contractors, and project managers to flag issues early and suggest practical solutions
  • Monitoring compliance with all relevant safety policies—because everyone goes home safe here
  • Keeping thorough records (materials, work progress, incident reports) — letting the paperwork work for you, not against you
  • Training new team members as the crew grows; setting the standards others will follow

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman on large-scale construction projects (especially commercial/residential)
  • Solid knowledge of electrical systems, site safety, and UAE construction codes
  • Hands-on leadership abilities—you’re calm, decisive, and know how to motivate a diverse team
  • Comfortable reading blueprints and technical drawings
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English (Hindi/Urdu a plus for site coordination)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Valid UAE driving license
  • Familiarity with Damac Hills projects
  • Basic understanding of project scheduling tools

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you. Sometimes the best people have a unique path.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary package—we know how hard you work and we value it
  • Free visa and residence support, so you can focus on the job, not the paperwork
  • Company-provided pick & drop —no more stressful commutes after a long shift
  • Be part of impactful projects that shape Dubai’s skyline and communities
  • A supportive, tight-knit team where your initiative is recognized (and your bad puns might even get a laugh)
  • Opportunity for growth as our pipeline of projects continues to expand

We believe great teams build great buildings—and we’re excited to see what you’ll create alongside us.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Can you walk us through a recent project where you supervised on-site electrical installations from start to finish? What challenges did you face, and how did you address them?
  • How do you ensure your team fully understands complex electrical plans and diagrams, especially when there are language or experience gaps among crew members?
  • What steps do you take to guarantee that all electrical work consistently meets local UAE codes and safety standards?
  • Describe your approach for coordinating manpower and materials to avoid project delays. Can you share an example of when you successfully kept a project on track despite unforeseen issues?
  • How do you handle situations where an engineer or contractor disputes your assessment of an on-site electrical problem? What’s your strategy for finding solutions together?
  • Have you used any project scheduling tools, even at a basic level? If so, which ones, and how did they help you manage daily site operations?
  • Tell us about a time you had to mentor or train a new team member. How did you bring them up to speed and set expectations for quality and safety?
  • Give an example of how you motivated a diverse team during a particularly hectic phase of a project.
  • Can you describe an incident on site that tested your commitment to safety? How did you ensure everyone went home safe?
  • We value openness—how do you handle giving feedback if a team member isn’t meeting your standards or site requirements?
  • Our crew often celebrates big and small wins together. How do you contribute to building camaraderie and a positive culture on your teams?
  • Communicating with people from various backgrounds is crucial on our sites. Can you share how you navigate language differences or cultural nuances when managing a crew?
  • What attracts you to join projects in Damac Hills 2, and how do you see yourself contributing to our company’s ongoing growth?
  • In this role, things can change quickly. How do you stay calm and lead decisively when site priorities shift unexpectedly?
