About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever imagined being the go-to person who literally powers new buildings and keeps the water running smoothly—right as Abu Dhabi continues to grow? Our team in Al Dhafra is searching for an Electrician and a Plumber, each ready to make a real impact on our full-spectrum contracting and real estate developments. If you’re someone who thrives seeing their handiwork come to life at the heart of bustling construction projects, you’ll feel right at home here (hard hats required, but so is a sense of purpose).
About the Company
We’re a spirited group of builders, engineers, and visionaries headquartered in Abu Dhabi City. Our projects shape skylines and neighborhoods alike throughout Al Dhafra. Beyond blueprints and hard hats, we pride ourselves on genuine teamwork and a culture where Friday breakfast runs have become an unofficial tradition. There’s a shared sense here: what we build together lasts, whether it’s a residential block or our own sense of camaraderie.
What You’ll Be Doing
Electrician Duties
- Installing electrical wiring and conduit systems on active construction sites—sometimes it’s neat and planned, sometimes it’s a “figure it out” challenge.
- Executing cable pulling (and making sure every wire lands exactly where it's needed—no confusion, no spaghetti wiring).
- Mounting and connecting distribution boards (DB panels) and all related breakers to power up a site safely.
- Troubleshooting electrical issues as they arise—sometimes in the middle of dust, noise, and more than a few curious onlookers.
- Working closely with site supervisors, foreworkers, and other trades to complete the daily plan.
Plumber Duties
- Assembling, installing, and repairing water supply and drainage systems throughout new builds.
- Reading site plans and carefully measuring pipe runs before the first cut—accuracy is your superpower.
- Joining pipes, sealing joints, and ensuring absolutely no leaks or drips make it past you (because call-backs aren’t fun).
- Testing systems for pressure and safety, often before anyone else sets foot in the finished space.
- Coordinating with electricians and other site teams to avoid clashes, overlaps—or, well, accidentally putting a pipe where a cable should go.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Previous hands-on experience in construction settings, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
- Solid technical skills—reading drawings, handling tools, and safely navigating a busy building site.
- For Electricians: Proven experience with conduit installation, DB panels, and cable pulling.
- For Plumbers: Confidence in fitting, joining, and maintaining water and drainage systems.
- Strong attention to detail—mistakes in these trades can have big consequences.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse, multinational site team.
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, and doing the job right the first time.
Nice-to-Haves
- Certification or vocational training in your trade from an accredited institution.
- Flexibility to occasionally pitch in outside your main trade (we’re a team, not a bunch of silos).
- Basic English or Arabic language skills—just enough to keep everyone on the same page.
- A sense of humor doesn’t hurt, either.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary package, with on-time payments you can count on.
- Free accommodation and transport to/from site—worry less, work better.
- Supportive atmosphere: supervisors who actually listen, and teammates who look out for each other.
- Plenty of opportunity for overtime and advancement as our projects expand.
- Recognition: we notice hard work and celebrate project successes (sometimes with fantastic team lunches).
- Your safety is our priority—PPE provided, plus regular site safety briefings.
We believe every building tells a story—and so does every person on our crew. Here, your work won’t go unnoticed. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves with a team that values your skills and your contribution, let’s talk.
