What You’ll Be Doing
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates tailored to each aluminum and façade package.
- Break down tender documents, carefully identifying scope boundaries, material needs, and any technical quirks.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors—you’ll be on the phone, setting up calls, comparing quotations, and confirming lead times for specialty materials.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and pricing schedules, ensuring every detail matches up.
- Highlight potential risks or value engineering opportunities to both senior estimators and project managers, sparking those “what if we tried this?” conversations.
- Support bid submissions, ensuring all estimations and pricing are ready for those tight deadlines.

What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 1 year of direct experience estimating in the aluminum & façade sector.
- Working knowledge of construction drawings, materials, and façade systems.
- Comfort with BOQs, cost breakdowns, and tender processes.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills—Excel and you are on good terms.
- Proactive communication—reaching out comes naturally, and you aren’t afraid to ask questions.
Nice-to-Haves:
