About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be the operational anchor for leadership at a fast-moving company? As the Executive Assistant to our General Manager, you’ll do more than keep the calendar ticking — you’ll be at the epicenter of cross-departmental coordination, smoothing communication and proactively clearing the runway for high-stakes decisions. This is the perfect fit for someone who thrives on keeping the wheels turning, enjoys a front-row seat to big-picture strategy, and is keen to learn how the pieces all fit together.
About the Company
Picture a company where collaboration is more than a buzzword — it’s the heartbeat of our day-to-day. We’re a growth-stage organization balancing the agility of a startup with the steady focus of an industry leader. Our culture? Think open doors (literally, our GM’s door is almost never closed), mutual respect, and the kind of teamwork where even your wildest spreadsheet hacks are appreciated. Engineering, operations, and leadership work side by side here — and yes, rumor has it our quarterly team-bakeoffs get almost as competitive as our quarterly results.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as the primary point of contact and “air traffic controller” for the General Manager’s schedule and priorities
- Managing complex calendars, arranging meetings across departments (and time zones), and anticipating what’s needed next
- Keeping a sharp eye on projects — tracking deadlines, follow-ups, and critical action items so nothing slips through
- Preparing briefing documents, presentation decks, and concise summaries for executive review
- Facilitating seamless communication between the General Manager, engineering leads, and senior management
- Jumping in to coordinate special projects, team events, or confidential initiatives with discretion and a positive, can-do energy
- Upholding company policies and ensuring all decisions and actions flow with compliance in mind
- Occasionally handling sensitive information with professionalism — you’ll be trusted as the GM’s right hand
- Spotting bottlenecks or opportunities for process improvement, and not hesitating to speak up
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Strong experience (3+ years) supporting senior leaders or executives — you know how to read the room and stay three steps ahead

- Excellent communication skills, whether you’re dashing off a quick Slack message or walking through a senior-level presentation
- Proficiency with office tech: Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office, remote meeting tools, and online schedulers
- Discretion, integrity, and a friendly, approachable attitude
Nice-to-Haves:
- Exposure to an engineering or tech-driven environment
- Experience juggling multiple teams, projects, or high-priority to-do lists
