About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you the kind of hands-on leader who thrives on building things that last? We’re looking for an experienced Foreman to take the reins on our busy project sites here in Sharjah’s dynamic Alkhan Street. This isn’t just another construction gig — it’s a chance to join a company where your decisions matter, your experience is respected, and no two days are ever the same. If rolling up your sleeves and setting the standard for your crew sounds rewarding, let’s talk.
About the Company
Based right in the heart of Sharjah, our contracting company has carved out a reputation for delivering solid, on-time projects — from neat residential makeovers to larger commercial works. While our deadlines are serious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously: our team’s quick to share a laugh over chai during morning briefings and we celebrate milestones together, big or small. Whether you’re debating building materials or cricket scores, you’ll find camaraderie here. We’re growing steadily, welcoming new projects (and faces) with each passing month, so there’s real opportunity to make your mark.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising day-to-day operations on project sites and ensuring smooth workflow from start to finish
- Translating technical drawings into clear, actionable instructions for your team — and making sure specifications are met
- Organizing workers and assigning daily tasks based on project priorities and individual strengths
- Monitoring quality, safety, and progress — and problem-solving on the fly when site surprises pop up
- Coordinating closely with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep everything (and everyone) in sync
- Reporting site updates, resource needs, and progress to the main office in a timely manner
What You’ll Bring
- At least 3 years of proven experience in the contracting sector, specifically in site supervision
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specs without skipping a beat
- Demonstrated experience managing site staff — you know how to both delegate and motivate
- Clear communication skills in spoken and written English; Arabic or other languages are a bonus
- UAE construction experience is a strong advantage — understanding local standards and work culture gives you a head start
- Currently available in the UAE and ready to join on short notice
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive, timely-paid salary package — no guesswork, just reliability
- The chance to work on diverse, high-visibility projects that sharpen your skills and boost your profile in the industry
- Supportive management that backs your decisions and treats you as a professional, not just a number
- Team-first culture — enjoy regular staff gatherings, birthdays, and respect for cultural holidays
- Opportunities for growth — prove your skills, and you’ll find real paths to advancement in our expanding company
We know construction demands commitment, so we do our best to build a workplace that values good people. If you’re ready to lead, learn, and leave your mark on every project, you might just fit right in.
