About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever pictured yourself at the heart of a boutique where glamour greets you each morning and every gown tells a story? As our new Evening Dress Boutique Specialist in Ajman’s up-and-coming Al Jerf district, you’ll do more than just fit lace to lining — you’ll help clients shape the moments they’ll remember forever. If you love fashion, thrive on personal connections, and have an eye for both elegance and opportunity, this might just be your next favorite chapter.

About the Company

Nestled among Ajman’s bustling streets, we’re a newly launched boutique with a clear mission: to bring custom-crafted eveningwear within reach for anyone with an occasion to celebrate. Our founders are passionate about classic craftsmanship with a fresh twist — every design is infused with the latest trends, yet tailored to the individual. You’ll fit right in if you believe that fashion sparks confidence and community. (Friday afternoons sometimes turn into impromptu style sessions — clients and staff included.)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Greeting and advising customers in both Arabic and English, making everyone feel at ease from the moment they walk in.
  • Collaborating on custom evening dress designs, helping clients select fabrics, styles, and unique touches that make each gown special.
  • Taking precise measurements and ensuring fittings are both comfortable and flawlessly executed.
  • Staying on top of fashion trends — from fabrics to silhouettes — and sharing those insights with both the team and clientele.
  • Providing top-notch after-sales support, making sure every client leaves happy and keeps you in mind for future occasions.
  • Managing everyday boutique routines, from displaying the latest pieces to ensuring the boutique always looks runway-ready.
  • Promoting the boutique through word-of-mouth, social platforms, and your own creative ideas for community engagement.
  • Spotting opportunities to build relationships and attract loyal clients who’ll become ambassadors for our brand.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Comfortable speaking and writing in both Arabic and English — you’ll be the welcoming face and voice for clients from all walks of life.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in fashion retail or tailoring, especially with evening wear.
  • Deep knowledge of fabrics, finishes, and what’s trending in formal wear.
  • Genuine passion for customer service; you’re patient, approachable, and solutions-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills, both listening and advising, for a truly personalized experience.
  • Basic sewing and alteration skills — you know your way around a needle and thread.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Flair for visual merchandising or social media promotion.
  • Warm network within Ajman’s social or bridal circles.
  • Ideas for in-store events, workshops, or special trunk shows.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary with growth opportunities as the boutique expands.
  • Work in a friendly, fashion-forward environment where your taste and expertise are truly valued.
  • Flexible hours to accommodate busy lifestyles or family needs.
  • Generous staff discounts on all eveningwear (your wardrobe might just thank you).
  • Opportunities to collaborate with local designers and attend industry events.
  • You’ll be part of a tight-knit team that celebrates each sale — and sometimes, each new dress — like a big win.

Bring your style, your skill, and your desire to make every moment a little more memorable. We can’t wait to meet you.

  • How do you balance your personal style with the boutique’s brand aesthetic when advising customers?
  • Tell us about a time when you contributed to a team environment and how you celebrated shared successes.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For a Boutique Specialist role focused on evening dress sales and client service in Ajman, you should expect a salary of at least 3,500–5,500 AED per month, especially if you have prior experience in fashion retail or tailoring. Similar positions in the UAE often fall within this range, with opportunities for slightly higher pay if you bring strong merchandising or social media skills. Negotiating toward the upper end is reasonable given your experience and the value of bilingual abilities in Arabic and English.
