What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and motivating teams of steel fixers or formwork carpenters, guiding daily work with a hands-on approach
- Studying structural drawings, ensuring precise implementation on site
- Coordinating with site engineers to resolve structural, material, or design challenges as they arise
- Inspecting work regularly for compliance with safety, structural, and quality standards—your keen eye keeps everyone safe
- Organizing daily activity schedules, and making sure that materials and tools are in the right place at the right time
- Training and mentoring junior crew members, passing on best practices and safety habits
- Keeping daily records of activities, production, and any site incidents
- Communicating openly with project managers and other foremen to keep jobs running smoothly
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Proven experience in a similar foreman role, supervising either steel fixing or shuttering carpentry teams (depending on your specialty)
- Solid ability to read and interpret engineering and structural drawings
- Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and quality standards
- Practical skills with relevant tools, materials, and site equipment
- Leadership skills—able to foster teamwork while keeping deadlines in check
- Availability to start immediately (ideal, but we’ll wait for the right fit!)
Nice-to-Haves
- Basic spoken/written English or Arabic
- Previous experience on large-scale projects in the UAE or Gulf region
- Formal certifications in construction or safety
