About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever managed a team that turns blueprints into buildings? As our next Foreman, you’ll be the heartbeat of our on-site operations — making sure every bolt, beam, and brick lines up just right. If you take pride in steering a crew toward safe, top-quality work (and you don’t mind swapping the occasional story about construction wins), this role in Sharjah could be your next big step. We’re looking for someone who’s not only skilled but genuinely enjoys being out in the field where the real action happens.
About the Company
We’re a rapidly growing contracting company with roots firmly planted in the UAE’s dynamic construction scene. Our team is a diverse mix — you’ll hear at least three languages over morning coffee, and we’ve got a tradition of celebrating project milestones with impromptu barbecues. Safety, honesty, and a hands-on approach are at the core of how we operate. You’ll find that we value initiative and keep red tape to a minimum, so good ideas (and good work) get noticed fast.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing day-to-day activities at various construction sites across the UAE, ensuring work runs smoothly and safely
- Coordinating tasks for site staff and subcontractors, keeping everyone on target and motivated
- Inspecting materials, equipment, and workmanship to guarantee quality and compliance with project specs
- Communicating progress, needs, and challenges to project managers — your updates keep everyone in the loop
- Solving on-the-ground problems as they arise (think quick decisions and creative fixes)
- Maintaining accurate site records, from attendance logs to daily progress reports
- Helping to create a positive, safety-first environment where your crew feels supported
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Valid UAE driving license (essential for getting between sites)
- Clear spoken and written English skills — you’ll coordinate with a range of teams and suppliers
- Proven track record supervising construction or contracting sites in the UAE or similar markets
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations
- Experience managing multicultural teams
- Proficiency in additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, etc.)
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Legal residency visa provided — we’ll handle the paperwork
- Company accommodation, so you’ve got a comfortable place to recharge
- Transportation between sites is sorted — no need to worry about logistics
- Comprehensive medical insurance for peace of mind
- Work with a supportive team that values your expertise and input
- Opportunities to grow as we expand — your ambition will fit right in
We know construction work is all about teamwork and trust. Here, you’ll find both — plus a crew that’s as committed as you are to building things that last.
