About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it takes to be the heartbeat of a top-tier fitness community? As a GYM Receptionist at AB Fitness in Dubai, you’ll be that friendly face everyone knows—the go-to person who sets the tone from the moment people walk in the door. This isn’t just about checking memberships or handing over towels. It’s about creating those small, meaningful moments that keep members coming back, excited and motivated. If you love meeting new people, thrive on positive vibes, and enjoy keeping a busy space running like clockwork, this could be the role that makes each day as energizing as a great workout.
About AB Fitness
At AB Fitness, we’re more than just rows of treadmills and racks of dumbbells—we’re a vibrant, health-focused community where every member’s wellness journey is personal. Based at the buzzing Mina Rashid location in Dubai, our team is passionate (and just a bit competitive) about providing an unforgettable fitness experience. We celebrate wins, big and small—whether that’s a new personal record or just making it in for a Monday morning session. Friday spirit days, monthly wellness workshops, and spontaneous smoothie runs? All part of the package. We genuinely care about each other and push ourselves to set the gold standard for fitness culture in the UAE.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greet members with energy and professionalism—think genuine smiles, not just polite nods.
- Manage check-ins efficiently, ensuring everyone’s access is easy and seamless.
- Answer questions about classes, schedules, and memberships—helping members find what best fits their goals.
- Handle incoming calls and emails, sometimes simultaneously (bonus points for multi-tasking with a smile).
- Coordinate bookings for personal trainers and group sessions, keeping timetables current and accurate.
- Keep the front desk and lounge area tidy (you’ll be surprised how fast those towels pile up).
- Respond quickly to member feedback and concerns, always striving for solutions.
- Occasionally give gym tours to potential members—show us your best sales pitch!
- Support the team with light admin work or event setups as needed; no day is ever the same.
