About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Here’s the Opportunity
Picture yourself on the frontline of some of the region’s most ambitious industrial projects—shaping landscapes and powering growth, one precision move at a time. We’re searching for a Heavy Equipment Operator/Driver who knows their way around machines like JCBs, excavators, or bulldozers, and thrives in the pulse of oil, gas, or petrochemical sites. If you’re skilled, safety-driven, and ready for a role where every day brings a new challenge, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
About Us
We’re a close-knit, multicultural team with deep roots in the UAE’s industrial sector. You’ll find us where progress happens: building infrastructure, supporting ambitious energy initiatives, and finding resourceful solutions—often with a little friendly competition over who can maneuver that excavator just a bit more smoothly. Our leadership believes in empowering operators, prioritizing safety, and recognizing people who don’t just do a job, but take real pride in their craft. Whether it’s early morning tool-box talks or shared stories from the road, you'll always feel the camaraderie here.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating heavy equipment (JCB, Bulldozer, Excavator, or similar) safely and skillfully across various project sites
- Inspecting, maintaining, and keeping machinery in top-notch shape—because you know a rattling bolt means a work stoppage later
- Reading site plans and following instructions from project engineers and supervisors with precision (and maybe giving your professional opinion when you see a better route)
- Adapting to changing site conditions, weather, and schedules—sometimes your steel-capped boots are right at the action, sometimes you’re plotting your next move from the cab
- Supporting team safety checks, incident reporting, and being a go-to resource for site newcomers
- Communicating clearly—whether it’s a hand signal, a quick call, or documenting your daily activities
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience operating heavy machinery like JCBs, bulldozers, or excavators
- At least 3 years of hands-on work in the UAE or GCC (you know the desert heat and local work culture)
- Valid UAE Heavy Equipment Operator License (essential for site access)
- High School Certificate or Technical Diploma in Mechanical/Equipment Operation
- Familiarity with safety procedures in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial sectors
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience-in-the-seat on multi-phase construction or shutdown projects
- Commitment to continuous skill improvement—maybe you’ve mentored junior operators or attended advanced machinery workshops
- Conversational English or Arabic (bonus points if you speak both!)
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary, stable pay schedule, and overtime opportunities for those extra mile days
- Commitment to safety: all PPE provided, plus regular training and medical cover
- Accommodating work culture; we value skill, honest feedback, and looking out for one another
- Loyalty and performance bonuses—because consistency and excellence should be rewarded
- Opportunities to work on mega projects: you’ll see the impact of your work in the skyline and the infrastructure around you
- Support for career development, whether you want to upskill or move into senior operator roles
You’ll become part of a team where experience matters, hard work is celebrated, and every shift brings a chance to build your legacy. Ready to drive, dig, and make your mark? Join us.
